The team spend a week in Chester investigating the city's most historic and allegedly haunted locations in an attempt to find whether Chester is truly one of the UK's most haunted cities.

The team face their first lockdown in Chester as they return to `Ye Olde Kings Head' for the first time since 2017. A 17th century sword was discovered during a refurbishment in the 1930s, and this might be the reason the inn is so haunted.

The team heads to the north of the city to investigate the oldest coaching inn in Chester. A tragic accident is believed to have occurred many years ago in the cellar.

Chester continues to surprise the team as they head out for their fourth investigation. The George & Dragon is believed to have been built on a Roman cemetery, and witnesses say the pub is haunted by an army of Roman soldiers.

Danny and Becki head to the village of Rowton to investigate claims of ghostly sightings on Rowton Moor, which played host to one of the bloodiest battles of the English civil war.

At the final location, the team attempt to answer the question of whether Chester is truly the city of spirits.
