Kate Langbroek and Michael Robotham join us for the first Book Club of the year. We'll discuss "Doctor Sleep", the new release from Stephen King. Kate is bringing in her favourite, "The Perfect Scent" by Chandler Burr.

Zan Rowe and David Marr join Jennifer, Marieke and Jason on The Book Club. They'll be discussing the latest from Dave Eggers, "The Circle" as well as David's choice of classic, "The Quiet American" by Graeme Greene.

Clare Wright and John Collee join Jennifer, Marieke and Jason to discuss "The Luminaries" by Eleanor Catton – her Man Booker Prize winning novel. Clare chose this month's classic, "Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant" by Anne Tyler.

A. M. Homes and Vikram Chandra join the panel for this special Sydney Writers Festival edition of The Book Club, discussing "We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves" by Karen Joy Fowler and "The Chemistry of Tears" by Peter Carey.

In July, Chris Taylor and Linda Jaivin join The Book Club to discuss new release "Look Who's Back" by Timur Vermes as well as Evelyn Waugh's classic, "Scoop".

Author and TV presenter Tara Moss plus founder of The Bell Shakespeare Company, actor and director John Bell, join Jennifer and regular Book Clubbers Marieke Hardy and Jason Steger to discuss Lust in great literature.

In September, Meg Wolitzer and Rupert Thomson join The Book Club to discuss "Summer House with Swimming Pool" by Herman Koch and "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel García Márquez.

In October, Adrian McKinty and Virginia Gay join The Book Club to discuss "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" by Mark Haddon and "The Wonders" by Paddy O'Reilly.

Jennifer Byrne and panellists Marieke Hardy and Jason Steger are joined by rapper, poet and writer Omar Musa, and a returning guest – internationally acclaimed Ireland-based Australian author Monica McInerney. New book, "Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage" and favourite, "Once Were Warriors".
