Shortly after a driver has filled up at a Prooil station, his car explodes. Semir and André take on the case. What initially looks like a normal accident takes on a new dimension: a highly explosive additive has been added to Prooil's fuel. When the two detectives pay a visit to the company, they notice that the boss Dr. Pott and his security officer Victoria Götzinger are trying to cover something up. André and Semir suspect that the company is being blackmailed. In fact, they observe Ms. Götzinger handing over money, but it fails. The blackmailer then increases his demands and threatens further attacks. Several cars explode. The detectives want to lure the perpetrator out of his shell by handing over money again. But they are dealing with a clever opponent...

A tanker truck crashes after a pursuit, and poisonous and explosive liquid leaks out. The dying driver warns of a second transport with Uli Schatz at the wheel. The poison is to be shipped illegally to Africa. Semir and André pursue Uli, who knows nothing about the deadly cargo or his hidden son. The truck's refrigeration unit breaks down, and the explosive cargo threatens to detonate in the heat - the truck must keep moving to prevent a catastrophe.

Mass pile-up on the highway. Semir examines the wrecked cars and finds a man's severed hand among the debris. The original owner can only be identified by the signet ring. This is the software expert Alexander von Rohloff. He actually works for the Japanese company "Nakamura Limited". Since André is ill, Semir is assigned the Yakuzza specialist Rebecca Herforth from the State Criminal Police Office as his partner for this case. Both are wondering whether the dead man was kidnapped and murdered. During their investigations they find out that von Rohloff stole valuable software from his company and wanted to blackmail his Japanese boss. During the investigation it turns out that his boss Toshiro Funaki has sent a group of ninjas after Rohloff and his girlfriend to solve the problem. Semir and Rebecca don't have much time left to prevent the worst.

A tragic accident during a wild chase. Policewoman Anna Engelhardt is forced off the road by a criminal in such an unfortunate way that she ends up in the front yard of a house. A woman and her baby die in the front yard, but the criminal manages to escape. The surviving widower Kemmer believes that Anna is entirely to blame for the death of his family. He sues her for damages and compensation. But Anna is acquitted, something the grieving man cannot accept. Kemmer swears revenge and plans to kill Engelhardt's friend and his young son.

A little boy and his mother are murdered on the highway. The trail leads André and Semir to Mallorca to Carlos Berger, a gangster boss who runs a high-class prostitution ring. Berger is planning a major coup involving kidnappings and rockets in order to escape. André tries to stop him undercover, but his cover is blown. Semir desperately searches for André while Berger collects the ransom and distributes weapons. In the cave, André recognizes Berger's accomplice Salvatore as the murderer of Berger's son. When Berger learns that his son died in an assassination attempt of his own, he freaks out, launches a rocket and flees. After a dramatic chase, Semir shoots Berger, but André is shot and falls into the sea, where he disappears.
