In 2015, Holland's Next Top Model was won by a transgender. And this year, for the first time, a transgender is taking part in the Miss Universe pageant. Less well known are the regretful optants. Patrick from Emmen undergoes a sex change ten years ago. But already after three months he realizes that it was the wrong decision. Yet for years he wanted to become a woman. Several psychiatrists have seen him and found that his wish is consistent. So Patrick was cleared for the surgery. How can he be sorry?
