The action takes place in the provinces, in the apparently quiet and idyllic town of Królowy Most, where CBŚ agents bring in the gangster Józef Czapla, a witness for the crown in the Milanówek mafia trial. Only the police commander knows the details of the case, who, by the way, continues to grapple with many other problems: he lacks subordinates, although a new one has just been assigned to the Queen of the Bridge, and cannot find a husband. for his daughter Luśka, who has an illegitimate heir. The classic comedy of errors begins, in which the heroes face ever new and unexpected challenges. In a small town there will be gangster settlements, attempts to do big business ended in various ways, new relationships, all in a convention of comedy and crime.

Easter is coming. In front of the church, a festive compilation of people surrounds the tables filled with baskets with a saint. Priest I say a prayer and then blessing gifts. The crown witness, Jerzy Bocian, drives in front of the store. On the other side of the news website, the appendix has a current bucket. The stork is a producer. He pulls out a gun and shit from behind and straight at the boy. He freezes in fear, then runs away. Priest and Ratajowa chimneys in the vegetable garden. The commander and the mayor appear at the presbytery, very nervous. They complain about the behavior of Stork. The prince promises help.

The façade department of the police school is fighting on the practice track. Young men dressed in field uniforms overcome obstacles one by one. At the observation post, several senior officers judge his abilities. One of the lifts, Marian Cielęcki, tries to keep up with his teammates, but at every obstacle you can see how difficult it is for him. Everyone manages to jump the ditch with water, a Marian falls into it, getting wet to the waist. Two paramedics carry him on a stretcher. General Piecuch, the school principal, sees no chance of passing Marian on this exam. But it turns out that the boy has a strong protector, so he has to go through. The commission finally decides to promote him, but sends him to a small position in the province.

Marian, sent to the commandant's house to collect a black briefcase, which the boss mistakenly left at home, notices Luśka in the gazebo leading out to the garden, breastfeeding her child. It looks beautiful in the light of the setting sun. Marian freezes in delight, returns to the post, delighted and dreamy.

There is a festival in the meadow near the forest. The mayor cuts the ribbon in the Italian national colors, the fire-fighting band tries to play "Bandera Rossa", and everything is assisted by pop with fall. Maselli, an Italian businessman and hero of the ceremony, is to lay the cornerstone for the construction of his hypermarket. Pop sprinkles the stone with holy water. The fun is underway. A curious Stork approaches the crowd. Unexpectedly, he stops dead. Oliwia, Maselli's friend, is his old fiancée, whom he has been looking for a long time. An enraged Stork attacks the Italian with his fists, but is immediately overpowered by Maselli's bodyguards. The Stork, which they felled, struggles to get up. He needs a beer to calm down. He accidentally splashes beer on the lush neckline of Struzikowa's bartender, an attractive widow.

Under the cover of night, three armed bandits are sneaking towards Jerzy Bocian's villa. The crown witness is sleeping in the best when suddenly a picture of the Mother of God falls off the wall, which the Stork received from the priest during his pastoral visit to the new parishioner. The noise wakes the Stork, the man gets up to pick up the picture. At this point, a series of shots sounds. The bullets pierce the bed where the Stork was lying a moment ago. The man only sees the headlights of the van driving away. With reverence, she lifts the picture of the Virgin Mary, falls to her knees and begins to pray. The next day in the church he wants to offer the priest a gold chain in thanks to the Mother of God for saving his life. The priest, however, does not want to accept the gift. Rather, he would prefer the Stork to change his life.

The bandits' hunt for Jerzy Stork continues, and he once again slips out of the ambush. He is hiding at a post guarded by a lonely apprentice Marian Cielęcki. It turns out that the trap for the crown witness was set by General Dowbój, in which Stork recognizes one of the criminals. Marian, a servant, along with agents, neutralizes Dowboja and his assistant. After returning home, Luśka informs her parents that she intends to marry Marian.

Marian marries Luśka, delighted with his heroic attitude, and Jerzy Bocian plans to marry Struzikowa, who until recently was dangerously interested in the organist Witek, husband of Marusia and father of four children. The message comes to Królowy Most that Witek's oratorio will be performed in the church at Jasna Góra. In the finale, the proud and happy composer conducts the orchestra and choir during the premiere performance of his oratorio. No less proud townspeople watch him on TV.

After 20 years of emigration, Stasiek Niemotko returns to his fatherland - Królowy Most. And life flows quietly there. The mayor writes poems. The church choir is rehearsing under the direction of Witek, who now looks for inspiration in folklore as the romantics did in the past. The Storks sometimes close an inn earlier, because money is not everything. Stasiek Niemotko eagerly started renovating the house after his parents and looking for a wife. Marina Chmiel, an attractive, mature and lonely instructor arrives at Królowy Most to introduce the local police to computer skills. Finally, a laptop hidden in a safe, once received for merits, will come in handy.

Marian Cielęcki and Witaszek with innate grace try to unload the cork consisting of carts and tractors in the center of the town. Marian's mother gets off the bus. She arrived unexpectedly, guided by her mother's instincts for caring for her son. Marina Chmiel perfectly fulfills her mission, conducts computer training, takes care of physical fitness and shows off her knowledge of martial arts and accurate shooting. The mayor and the commander consult to organize a banquet on the occasion of the priest's 60th birthday. The priest refuses to cooperate. He invites everyone to Mass for this intention. The mayor and the commandant do not give up, they set up an Organizing Committee and look for support from the bishop himself. Meanwhile, the news of the upcoming mayoral elections reached Królowy Most. The priest in the ambo reminds the faithful that elections are a civic duty, and avoiding it is a sin of omission.

Along with the elections, there is an appetite for power. Another candidate, a local entrepreneur - Śliwiak, starts dreaming about the mayor's seat. And the current mayor is not going to give up his job at all. In the political struggle they adhere to the principle - any tricks are allowed. In the photo studio, Stasiek Niemotko, a guest from America, agreed to become the chief of Śliwiak's election staff. In the fight against election competition, the mayor can count on sons whom he once, thanks to his authority, took to office. In the meadow, among the bushes, the mayor reads poems to Dzidka's secretary. Dreamy, in creative elation, innocently folds his head on her impressive breasts. The priest in the kitchen confides to the commandant about his new worry. The bell in the church tower rang false. He is afraid that this is a bad sign and asks the commander to strengthen the patrols in the town.

In front of the Zapiecek inn, Stasiek Niemotko puts up an election poster. A bunch of young boys are running around the corner. They get him and attack him in a brutal way. Suddenly, Marina Chmiel comes to the rescue. In a few seconds, he overpowers the attackers who run away in panic. Half-conscious Stasiek, grateful and delighted with Marina, asks her to marry him. Hear fireman sirens. Płonie Panderoza, Śliwiak's place, where he intended to organize a pre-election festival. The balance sheet of the election struggle turns out to be disastrous. The chief of staff was beaten and the place was burnt. The devastated Śliwiak decides to resort to more radical moves. The Georgian gang, 10 years earlier expelled from the town by the commandant, now returns at the invitation of Śliwiak. Since then, robberies, racketeering and extortion have become the daily sadness of the inhabitants of Królowy Most.
