20 year old Tessa takes the big step of moving from a minkfarm in the country to a queer collective in Copenhagen. While she is greeted with open arms by her childhood friend Andrea, she is immideatedly challenged by her new roommates. What is wrong with fur and why is it not okay to ask where people are from?

Tessa and Jackie are home alone before the evening party in the collective. Tessa curiously asks about Jackie’s gender identity and gets a surprising and cross-border answer.

An overwhelmed Tessa makes an interesting acquaintance at her first party in the collective.

The next day, Tessa wakes up with her new Roomie Ronja, who invites Tessa to a bathing facility. While Tessa is overwhelmed by Ronja’s friends’ lack of bashfulness and naked bodies, she meets Loui from the night before.

Tessa’s newly acquired menstrual cup is stuck. She realizes that she needs help to get it out. But Nevan is the only one at home. And what does he even know about that?

Tessa and Andrea are going to a poetry reading event in the park full of anticipation, but are they at all aware of what the event entails, or have they taken a wrong turn?

Tessa gets a visit from her old girlfriends. Colorful drinks fly through the air and they ask about her new gay life. Tessa suddenly feels distanced from her old life, yet not quite comfortable in her new life and seeks comfort from her friend Andrea.

Tessa and Loui finally hooks up and Loui confesses that she is in an open relationship. Tessa does not know what that means, but they grow closer together, as they spend the morning together in bed.
