The Tribe (2015)

Kerri Bodo encourages her husband Ayke Muko to find a second, younger wife to help with chores. And Ayke Muko instructs his eldest sons to arrange their younger brother's marriage.

The family's oldest son is about to get married but after failed dowry negotiations, relations between the two families break down. The bride-to-be Dami is a teenager from a village nearby and getting married will mean she is forced to leave her family.

The Ayke Muko family are preparing for a very special celebration. with youngest son Magi about to be initiated into manhood. He will need to prove his strength and agility by leaping naked across a line of cattle.

Ayke Muko's fun-loving nephew Berkee faces a difficult choice between returning to education or herding cattle to provide for his family. And there's trauma as a bout of malaria hits the family.
