Harmony and Melody are living with their Aunt Glenda on a canal barge, uncomfortably close to Grobbler, a scrap metal merchant, and his revolting son Gus. Harmony discovers Dino, a cheeky young tearabout, secretly living in the hold. Dino has found Harmony's magic 50p coin but she refuses to believe that it is able to grant her wishes.

Gregory and Harmony set up a garden centre together but the plants wither and Harmony decides to use the magic coin to make them grow. Soon the plants are monstrous singing creatures and the garden centre is transformed into a theme park. Dino discovers that Gus wants to kill Puddle so, courtesy of the Queen's Nose, he is soon covered in warts.
