Suleima has been living in Milan for a year and her relationship with Saverio is starting to suffer because of this distance. In fact, they haven't seen each other for a while, but there's a chance to meet again! Suleima will be in Sicily for a few days, for work, and Saverio will join her in Agrigento together with Piccionello. He doesn't want to miss this opportunity to hug her again, also because the girl arrives with her boss, Teodoro Bettini, a sort of demigod, of whom Saverio has been extremely jealous for a long time, and therefore he is also motivated by the desire to monitor the situation and mark his territory! A tragic event strikes Suleima and the entire community of ''La città del sole'': Teodoro Bettini, who had been missing for several hours, is found dead on the slopes of a hill, from which he fell. Saverio rushes to console and support Suleima. The police, in the meantime, seem determined to file the death away as a banal hiking accident, but Saverio, instead, begins to smell something and gets it into his head that it is a murder: Teodoro has been killed.
