Genesis 7

Searching the Firmament of the Heavens", the crew of the new Genesis 7 spaceship departs from Genesis Command on a year-long voyage to explore the solar system. Their first mission takes them to the moon, where a simple soil collecting task turns dangerous as a piece of space debris threatens to collide with the Little Genesis 7 lander.

After an explosion near the sun wounds Donton and the craft, Genesis Command orders the crew home for an Unexpected Return.

After a brief detour to Earth to mend the craft and Donton's wounds, the eager lieutenant's aerocapture skills are put to the test when he is required to navigate "Little G," the Genesis 7 lander, to the surface of the desolate, terrestrial planet.
