Dream Dakar

The Dakar is the world's most brutal and demanding rally. There is just a thin line between succeeding and total failure. All top drivers take part in this event with sponsorships from big corporations or multinational company groups. All of them? No! Ali Gharib, a former member of the German Special Forces, wants to fund the participation of his team at the 2015 Dakar on his own.

After the Baja Poland, Dakar privateer Ali Gharib and his team travel to Tunesia for desert testing. The Dakar rally team from Germany wants to gain some serious experience with the Land Rover Defender under real competition and climate conditions. Dampeners and drivetrain of the car get the last optimizations. Ali and HC learn how to drive over real desert dunes.

The Dream Dakar is really about to happen. Finally, the race car is equipped with a new FIA legal roll cage and an air-conditioning system is installed as well. Underbody and axles are also optimized once more. The service car is ready to roll, and the hardware of the German team is shipped to Buenos Aires. The team members draw up their summary so far.
