Children in Need

The Queen of Mean Anne Robinson returns for a special celebrity edition of the Weakest Link for Children in Need. Seven brave celebrities, including actor John Thomson, Love Island winner Kem Cetinay, chef Rosemary Shrager, actress Chizzy Akudolu, columnist Giles Coren and presenters Rylan Clark-Neal and Maya Jama, face the wrath of Anne as they work as a team and attempt to answer a series of general knowledge questions to win up to £15,000 for the charity. However, only one can win - six will leave with nothing as round by round their teammates vote them the weakest link.

Documentary presenting powerful testimonies from children who have experienced the death of a parent, as well as some who are preparing for this possibility. Every day in the UK over a hundred children face the death of their mum or dad. This film for BBC Children in Need features a group of seven- to seventeen-year-olds who have been bereaved, and a few who are facing the death of a parent. In their own words, these brave children share their heart-wrenching experiences and memories, with the aim of helping other young people who are facing a similar situation. Many of the contributors in the film have received counselling, and some of the children and young people have been helped by projects around the UK supported by BBC Children in Need.

Tess Daly and Ade Adepitan kick off the night with a performance from hit musical Annie, featuring Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood. There is also a sneak peak at the Doctor Who Christmas special. The cast of EastEnders sing their way round the Square in a show-stopping musical medley. The Children's Choir perform live in unison across the nation, and some deserving children get the surprise of their life. Graham Norton and Mel Giedroyc then take over for more fun and fundraising as the presenters of Countryfile take part in an unmissable performance. The incredible Rickshaw Challenge team from The One Show cross the finish line in Glasgow.

Marvin and Rochelle Humes co-host as the entertainment extravaganza returns to BBC One, with Rita Ora joining them in the studio. Tune in for an exclusive preview of the Call the Midwife Christmas special and don't miss West End divas Beverley Knight, Amber Riley and Cassidy Janson as they dazzle us with a unique performance. Ore Oduba joins us in studio, we go behind the scenes of our EastEnders Children in Need musical number, and Michael McIntyre spoils us with a sneak peak of his new show. A star-studded line-up celebrates the decade which saw BBC Children in Need's first major appeal. Hosted by Fearne Cotton and Sara Cox, with Roman Kemp capturing all the excitement backstage, this spectacular fundraiser includes performances from a-ha, Bananarama, Boy George, Erasure, Europe, Imagination, Jason Donovan, Katrina, Louisa Johnson, Mica Paris, Nick Heyward, OMD and UB40 featuring Ali, Astro and Mickey. So dust off your shoulder pads, pull on your legwarmers and join in with the audience, who will be dancing the night away to a whole host of 80s classics.

Lucy Owen and Josie d'Arby host a star-studded event from the BBC Studios, Cardiff, with a packed line-up of music and incredible stories of children and young people who have been helped by your donations. Well-known faces including actor Richard Mylan and boxer Lee Selby meet some inspirational characters who have been supported by projects across Wales. Meanwhile, joining Lucy and Josie for Pudsey's party will be musical guests Only Men Aloud, DIY SOS's Nick Knowles with his band, and The Voice finalists Into The Ark and Pembrokeshire rising star Betsy. There are also be two special performances, including Over the Rainbow by the Children in Need massed children's choir.

Jackie Bird presents a special round-up of all the best bits from Friday night's Children in Need extravaganza plus an extended look at how the charity supports young people in Scotland. Through a series of short films we meet some of the children whose lives have been changed by Children in Need's diverse range of projects all across Scotland. There's also another chance to see the performance from this year's Scottish Children in Need Choir, led by Choir Master Andrew Panton and made up of 125 young people aged between 8 and 15 from schools across Ayrshire performing a special version of Over the Rainbow and an exclusive rousing performance of Johnny Nash's I Can See Clearly Now. Jackie also looks back at the moment One Show presenter Matt Baker and his Rickshaw Challenge team - including Scottish riders Greg, 18, and 17-year-old Shona - arrived at BBC Scotland on Friday night at the end of their epic 500-mile 'Ride to the Clyde' from London. Stars from River City and Scot Squad also get in on the act with an exclusive mash-up sketch filmed especially for Children in Need.
