Canadian Idol

After a whirlwind tour across the country, Canadian Idol finally unveiled some of its unique musical finds as discovered in the western cities of Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, Whitehorse and Winnipeg.

After scouring Western Canada for talent, Canadian Idol headed east where they island-hopped, walked the ocean floor and danced the conga -- all to find the next successor to the Idol throne.

With both coasts of the country swept and scoured for singers, Canadian Idol shifted its focus to the cities of London, Sudbury and Toronto to make sure no potential talent is left undiscovered.

Hailing from towns such as Burlington, NL and Swan Hills, Alta., Canadian Idol competitors came from all points in Canada and descended upon Toronto for what's possibly the biggest competition of their lives: the grueling four-day elimination round of the Top 100.

After four days of jangled nerves, sleep deprivation and non-stop rehearsals, some of the country's most promising and undiscovered singers can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Canadian Idol's toughest week has ended and now 32 hand-picked hopefuls are priming for their shot at the spotlight.
