American Airgunner

American Airgunner is information packed with new hosts, Rossi Morreale and Steve Criner. Rossi talks Pre-charged pneumatic air rifles with industry experts Tom Gaylord, Jim Chapman and Rick Eutsler at the Round Table and visits the women's collegiate air rifle team at TCU. Later in the episode you'll get a pellet rifle hunting tip from Steve Criner and meet our six Airgunner Challenge contestants (Amanda, Sarge, Mr. Loco, Bob, Sparky, and Jason) that will be shooting throughout the season for a $5000 prize from Umarex USA.

In this Airgun episode, Steve Criner, who in this episode is deemed the "Squirrel Soldier", is in Missouri with a RWS under lever pellet rifle. Rossi talks with airgun hunter, Jim Chapman, about a .50 caliber pre-charged pneumatic big bore air rifle and we'll kick off the Airgunner Challenge with our version of a 3-gun competition involving a Beretta pellet pistol, Ruger Air Magnum, and an Evanix PCP Bullpup supplied by Pyramdy Air.

TV show host, Rossi Morreale, checks out some of the guns at the annual Shooting Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show) in Las Vegas and meets up with folks from Umarex, Air Venturi, Blue Book Publications, and others. Then he talks air rifle gas piston technology with three airgun gurus at the Round Table. Steve Criner has an airgun hunting tip and it's Sarge and Jason shooting CO2 powered action pistols in the first elimination round of the 2013 Airgunner Challenge!

Steve Criner and a posse of hog wranglers venture on a wild boar hunt in Southern Arkansas in this 4th episode of 2013, then Rossi Morreale, show host, gets the 4-1-1 on the new Ruger Yukon from Rick Eutsler of Airgun Web. In the Airgunner Challenge the five remaining contestants shoot .25 caliber pellets, at an exploding target, out of an airgun called a Sumatra provided by Pyramyd Air.

Episode 5 of American Airgunner gives us the rundown on how a 10 meter collegiate air rifle match is run and Rossi Morreale, armed with a Walther LG400, shoots against Catherine Green in a friendly match at TCU's range. At the round table, Tom Gaylord, Jim Chapman, and Rick Eutsler talk CO2 technology. In the Challenge, Sparky and Sarge belly up to the Airgunner Saloon. In this episode, 2013 host Rossi Morreale meets up with Mike Seeklander of Shooting Performance at the U.S. Shooting Academy for some firearm handling drills using a S&W M&P40 BB pistol, then at the round table with Rossi, Tom Gaylord, Rick Eutsler, and Jim Chapman is a discussion centered around CO2 technology in airguns. In the Airgunner Challenge, Loco, Amanda, Bob, and Sparky race to shred a target in half with a gun called the Umarex EBOS, an "Electronic Burst Of Steel".

In episode 7 Steve Criner employs a pre-charged pneumatic pellet rifle that easily puts a mess of feathers in the bag and Jim Chapman gives us an overview of one of the airguns from his gun cabinet. "This Old Airgun" is brought to you by Tom Gaylord and in the Airgunner Challenge, Loco and Amanda sit side-by-side at a shooting bench for a friendly competition with our custom spinning target.

This week, host, Rossi Morreale takes us to Arnsberg Germany for an inside look at the world wide headquarters of Umarex. He has a little fun with a "fly shooter" and this week's Round Table is centered around airgun hunting. Steve Criner gives us a hunting tip and in the Airgunner Challenge, three shooters shoot for the tightest 5-shot group using a Hammerli CR20 in a state-of-the-art indoor range at Umarex USA

Rossi Morreale talks with Tim Smith of Airgun Hobbyist magazine about his custom-airguns and then takes a Sam Yang out to looks for frogs with Steve Criner who opted for a .22 caliber Umarex Octane. A couple of guys from Elite Force Airsoft join Rossi to talk about airsoft guns and four shooters step right up to the first ever American Airgunner carnival shoot. Our competitors will be using three different airguns to shoot a variety of targets.

Airgun expos happen around the country, but the Pacific Airgun Expo in Fresno California is one of the biggest. You can't hit a target without a projectile—Rossi, Tom, Jim, and Rick talk pellets at the Round Table and we'll learn about a new gun from Umarex, the incredibly quiet Fusion. Globetrotter Rossi Morreale travels to the Florida Everglades to visit with local legend, Shawn Meiman. He's then on to California to meet up with Joey "Chief" Rubio of CQB City in Stockton. Rossi is back in Germany at the Umarex headquarters to get a first hand look and a review of the Walther LGV.
