We went for a test day to Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, and answered some of your questions that you have about 'All The Stations' whilst we were there.

Time to go to one of the most wonderfully named station on the rail network - that of Bat & Ball down at Sevenoaks in Kent, to talk about the kickstarter and what out stretch goals are!

Went on Talk Radio on the 2nd March 2017, to talk to the lovely Jon Holmes about the All The Stations project, what it entails, and how we're looking to make our stretch goals - as the more money we raise, the money quality videos we'll be able to bring to you for All The Stations!

It's the first NON-Official video, as it's a bonus one from Geoff! Expect roughly one bonus video a week here on Geoff's channel, whilst getting the official four-a-week videos on the main 'All The Stations' channel. It's Friday 5th May, and to start the trip, Vicki & Geoff take the sleeper down to Penzance ...

Quite by chance, on the same day that we started (Sunday May 7th 2017), the 'Great Britain X' steam excursion trip was on day 8 of its 9 day journey, and we saw it depart at 08.45 in the morning, but not before Vicki got on the footplate! The engines are LMS Royal Scot Class 7P 4-6-0 no 46100 Royal Scot, and BR Rebuilt Light Pacific 4-6-2 no 34046 Braunton.

It's Saturday 13th May, and on #AllTheStations it goes wrong early on when a train to Basingstoke runs late, and we miss our connection to Reading. It means that we'll finish an hour later than planned that day ... or does it? Geoff puts a call into his friend Jono that lives in the Guildford area, to try and make some connection to make up time!

It's Sunday 14th May 2017, and Geoff & Vicki hop over the sea from Portsmouth to the Isle of Wight where the sun is shining, the natives are friendly and the trains look rather familiar…

Your questions answered, Karen! In the Kickstarter, one of the rewards was for a 'Station Enquires' pledge, where you get to send us questions which we will personal answer for you. At the discretion of the backer, some of these videos may then be made public. This was recorded whilst sat on a train between Portsmouth and Guildford!

Friday 19th May, and we're ticking off some of Southern's end-of-lines including East Grinstead, Uckfield and Caterham, which involved some double backs and a ride from Roger!

Whilst in Manchester on Sunday 21st May to visit Man United Football Ground halt, we realised Vicki had never been on the trams there before, so it was time to take a ride!

It's Wednesday 31st May, and we focus on the service between Shenfield and London Liverpool street that is TfL Rail. This is the line that will become Crossrail next year, and new 'Class 345' trains were due to debut on this day, could we find one! Then, whilst passing Ilford, we get to go into the Greater Anglia train maintenance depot. Also, a big thanks to Dan for getting us a look around inside Ilford Depot too!

Longcross is the awkward station of the day, so when we get to Windsor we call up Richard who is happy to give us a lift to where we want to go .. straight to Longcross, or Bracknell instead?

It's the least used station in the whole of Great Britain, and whilst we started our travels there the following day, we went down on the Friday evening for Vicki to tell us a brilliant historical story about the station. This will filmed on Friday 2nd June, the following morning on Saturday 3rd June we did something rather special ... that main video will be published tomorrow. ROUTE: We drove from Ely to Shippea HIll. Stayed there an hour, then drove back to Ely again.

Special video on YouTube channel 'Calling All Stations' Friends of mine, Geoff and Vicki are attempted to stop at all 2563 railway stations in Great Britain. Today we're helping them out with connections and seeing some Essex railway history on the way.

It's 7th June 2017, and All The Stations has been going for one month! We find ourselves in Derby, and we thought we'd record an update video blog of how we're feeling, links to extra content you may not be aware of, and some exciting news about the ATS theme tune too!

It's May 31st, and after a long day filming out on the trains I stop off to see Dan (but not Dan) to talk about the editing process. Some of you had asked to see a bit of 'behind the scenes' stuff, and so here it is!

It's Friday 2nd June, and we pay a special visit to the newest station in the whole of the country - Cambridge North, which only just opened on the 21st May.

It's Saturday 17th 2017, and we've been doing Birmingham all week ... except for one station, and that''s Bordesley. It gets one service a day on a Saturday only, at 1,36pm - and we had to catch it! ROUTE: Bordesley to Birmingham Moor Street

Saturday 10th June, and after doing the Gainsborough to Cleethorpes line, we get a bus to Scunthorpe, and then head west to Doncaster (to see the new Platform Zero) - except we have to walk between Thorne South to Thorne North to pick up som extra stations. And this GENUINELY happened next, and I don't think we would have made it without them ... Thanks to Matt & Louse for giving us a ride in their (small) blue car!!

It's Sunday 4th June, and we're up in Norfolk, knocking out some of the awkward station, including England's most remote station - it's Berney Arms. And then we find a delightful manually operated level crossing at Brundall!

It's Sunday 25th June, and we're back down in Devon to pick up two awkward stations - Samford Courtenay and Okehampton. The line is only served by GWR/National Rail trains on summer Sundays ONLY, and at Okehampton, the Dartmoor Railway then runs services to nearby Melton Quarry/Viaduct. They sometimes run trains back to Sampford Courtenay too.

Recorded on 22nd June, broadcast on 27th June 2017, the BBC News correspondent David Sillito came out and joined us between Westbury, Pewsey and Newbury to find us just over halfway through our journey and ask us ... "Why?"

It's 27th June, and after the BBC featured this morning (thanks!) we wanted to record a quick update to say hello to everyone that may have just come to our YouTube channel today.

It's 26th June and we're in Wales! On the Valley Lines in Cardiff, and we'd heard that Gilfach Fargeod had a VERY short platform! But how short? Only one way to find out ...

How quickly can you do the 33 stations on the Heart of Wales (Swansea - Shrewsbury) Line, if you GET OUT at each station. There are only 4 trains that run the entire length! Notes: The PDF download page is here: https://www.arrivatrainswales.co.uk/timetables/ It's Timetable 1 you want, and the times start on page 42. Do it using the Monday to Friday timetable - it should be possible to do it starting on a Monday and NOT going into the weekend. You *are* also allowed to walk between stations, or get a lift/private ride. Use google maps to work out the correct distance and times taken. And SHOW YOUR WORKINGS! You can start at EITHER end! Is it better to start at Swansea, or Shrewsbury? ADDITIONAL CAVEAT: There *are* extra morning services (in both directions) that start even earlier, but they only go part of the way - that's OK, you can use these services too!

It's the third of our Q&A videos for Kickstarter backers that chose to have the reward of having a personal video recorded for them, and Sam & Siân who are in Chicago said that we could publically publish this, so here it is!

It's the 1st July, and we're at Llanfair­pwllgwyngyll­gogery­chwyrn­drobwll­llan­tysilio­gogo­goch and it reminds us that we're having a problem translating the phrase 'All The Stations' into Welsh. We've asked various different Welsh people, all who have given us different ways of saying it! So HOW DO YOU say 'All The Stations' in Welsh? Annoyingly, YouTube polls only let you have FIVE choices, so we've dropped number 2. So the poll lets you choose from options 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Hope that makes sense! Also, DON'T use or think that Google Translate knows how to do this best - it doesn't. We need genuine Welsh people who've spoken the language their entire lives to tell us. Thanks!

It's the 24th of June, and we take a trip to a station near Bristol that only gets TWO trains per week, both on a Saturday and in one direction only - and meet a lovely group of people who want to bring more services back to their local station.

We're back at home for a couple of days for a mid-season break, time to reflect upon the fact that we're at the halfway point. Also, this video should really have been titled "We've not been on a Northern Un-refurbished Class 142 Pacer!".

It's Sunday June 4th, and we head down to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft and catch up with a local chap called Mark, who gave us some historic local knowledge, and we end up at Ness Point - the most easterly part of the UK.

It's Sunday 2nd July, and there's one line in Wales left to do! And it's best done on a Sunday, because there's an awkward station to do - Hawarden Bridge - which sees most services at it stop on a Sunday, for reasons that we still haven't managed to figure out.

Ok, DO NOT SEND US ANYTHING YET! We'll release a template in a couple of weeks time for you to download. When we do, the two things are: 1. If you live outside of the UK and English is not your first language, we want you to hold up the sign that says 'All The Stations' in your language (and tell us which language that is!) and take a photo of yourself and send it into us. 2. If you're in the UK - Buy an advance ticket NOW for the August 12th/13th weekend. Take our template with you (again, released in a couple of weeks time), print it out, take it with you and get a photo of yourself at the destination that you go to and send it into us... We'll then make video montages of all the photos that get sent in and publish them here at the end of our trip as a celebration and 'thanks' to you all for watching and getting involved.

In our London catchup week, we went out one afternoon specifically to go and do Emerson Park, on the shuttle/branch between Romford and Upminster.

It's the 19th July and we travel along the Hope Valley Line into Sheffield, where we meet up with local lad Phil, who's got plenty of facts to share about the all the stations along the way!

Its the 19th July, and we filmed more whilst we were at Ardwick - an odd station in Manchester that sees a very limited service! So here's a bit more of us exploring it in an 'Extra' video ...

It's another Q&A Video time, this time for Kickstarter backer Michael, who sent us in some questions - and we sat on the platform shelter at Teesside airport station answering them all!

It's the 24th July, and annoyingly we have to do a station using a Rail Replacement Bus Service - Aston under Lyne, but then we get to nip over to Clifton, an awkward station in Greater Manchester which sees just one train a day in each direction...

It's Thursday 10th August, and in Glasgow Central station there is a 'Piano Garden' where anyone can go along and play a tune in public. So we invited people to come along, and presented them with the 'All The Stations' sheet music, to see how well the could play it! Thank you SO MUCH to Robert and Harold for coming out!

It's 27th July, and at the end of our day at Lancaster we catch up with a lovely man - Bernie, who has made us a beautiful customised 'All The Stations' sign. He's an artist who made this for us for free and just wanted to give it to us! A lovely, gesture and we thank you so much Bernie for doing such a brilliant thing!

It's the 30th July (a Sunday) and from Darlington, there's really only one thing we have to do today, and that's to "tick!" off Teesside (TEA) Airport station which only gets one train each way on a Sunday...

It’s the 20th July, and this special bonus video was created in collaboration with Trainline, who challenged us to leave our All Line Rovers in our pockets for the day and try out mobile ticketing for the first time to see how they work.

Virgin West Coast got in touch with us to see if we wanted to see behind the scenes of one the kitchens on there trains, so we said yes! And then we then we paid a visit to the Hitachi factory at Heighington to see where the new Azuma trains are being built .. there's also a longer version of the chat we had with Sam one their designers - it's a Virgin Trains special!

With our journey to all 2,563 National Rail stations complete, the BBC invited us onto the red Breakfast couch to talk to Dan and Naga about our trip! Here's the entire clip ...

A few weeks ago we measured the platform at Gilfach Fargoed, but word came in of an even shorter one .. Beauly, but this time we took along a proper measuring device, as well as Vicki's feet!

Tuesday 22nd August 2017 - At the end of our trip, the BBC asked us onto the red Breakfast sofa to talk about it, it seemed rude not to take my video camera and mini-vlog behind the scenes ... so we did!

It's July 30th, and back on the same Sunday that we visiting Teesside Airport, we did the line out to Bishop Auckland, and on the way back stopped over at Chester-le-Street to meet Alex who runs their station their and his own ticketing website.

When we were in Wales we got a lovely local welsh speak to translate 'All The Stations for us, so when we went via the Isle of Skye (to get between Mallaig and Kyle of Localsh) we met up with the lovely Mark who is fluent in Gaelic to also do some translating for us!

We went to many locations where some drone footage was a must, so we thought we'd put them altogether here in one place with one of our nice musical mixes. Some of the shots were done by Martin (thank you sir!) on a DJI Phantom 4, others by Geoff who carried a DJI Mavid Pro for the latter half of the journey.

Is 'Outakes' spelt with one T or two? Interesting. Either way, here are some of our favourite funny bits from All The Stations from the whole of the fifteen weeks on the rails. In particular, look out for the drone shot at Okehampton where something rather unfortunate happened! (But was later retrieved).

It's 9th September, and it's time to a visit a place that we didn't get a chance to go to whilst on 'All The Stations'. But the rule is, we can of course only go back to these places .. by train. There's no station at Runnymede though, so we got someone to pick is up from Shepperton!

We've finished! So we thought we'd pop into the Youtube London Space and have a chat about everything now that we've caught our breath. Don't panic, there are more videos to come ...

It's Friday 13th October, and we return back to Cornwall, to get out and properly explore the stations on the Looe Valley branch - that's St Keyne Wishing Well Hall, Causeland, Sandplace and Looe itself.

We whizzed through Kent and Thanet quite fast on our 'All The Station' tour, so time go back to somewhere we wanted to explore more in depth, say hello to the delightful town of Broadstairs!

Britain's newest railway stations - Kenilworth - on the line between Coventry and Leamington opened on Sunday 10th December 2017, with just one problem ... it actually didn't. It was meant to though, and by the time we heard it wasn't happening, we'd already paid for our travel, so we thought we'd go anyway. Which turned out to be the snowiest day of the year ...

When chatting to TfL recently, they told us about their 'secret' 271st Tube Station on the network - the West Ashfield training facility in Kensington - and as we're doing ALL the stations, and realised this was a station we hadn't been to, we had to go along ... ! Thanks to the the TfL Press Office, and for Pat and Les for showing us around and sharing their expert knowledge with us!

On May 14th 2017, 'All The Stations' visited the Isle of Wight .. or did they? It was time to go back to the Island to tell the story of why people think that it wasn't visited. Unless of course, this whole video is faked as well.

It's Friday 9th February 2018, and we were in York at the NRM when we realised we had time to get the train back to one of our favourite places on All The Stations .. Knaresborough, but this time Vicki got to go to the castle, and Geoff had his drone with him... Also .. we meant to get out at Poppleton on the way back, but it was dark by then, and we had to make our connection at York to get back to London. One day, we'll get out at Poppleton!

For fifteen weeks between May and August 2017, Geoff Marshall and Vicki Pipe travelled to all 2,563 Railway Stations in Britain, producing and publishing multiple videos every week online. A few months after they'd finished they then sat down to reflect upon the journey, talk about the railways and produce this .. the feature length Documentary. Contains new footage, that was not previously published in the daily videos. A huge thanks (as always) to our Kickstarter backers for making this happen!l Oh .. and .. Ireland, stay tuned!

During 'All The Stations' in 2017, the Swanage Heritage Railway started operating a service to Wareham station, but Corfe Castle didn't 'count' as a station to visit until 2018, when South Western Railway started to operate a Summer Saturday only service from Wareham to Corfe Castle, so it became a station that we had to visit! Oh, and as the name suggests, there's a castle there to visit as well ... Since completing all 2563 stations, Kenilworth opened in April 2018 to be 2564, Corfe Castle here was then served from May 2018 to be 2565, then Maghull North opened in June 2018 to be station number 2566. We'll go there at somepoint ...

It's time to go to Maghull North and Kenilworth! These are two new stations which have opened up in 2018 since we completed All The Stations in 2017. And so right after making "The Shortest Train" trip and video, we headed up to Liverpool to tick off Maghull North, and then headed home .. via Kenilworth to be 2,566 stations complete! We think the next new station to open will be Meridian Water (in north London) in May 2019 ...
