Blind Date (1985)

Cilla Black returns with a second compilation of The Best of Blind Date. Cilla introduces some former contestants as you've never seen them before. The sizzling Claudia returns to sing, aided by some strangely familiar he-men. There is advice on making that all-important good impression on a date from Annabel Giles and some stylish ex-Blind Daters. Favourite Golden Oldies Alfred and Grace return to sing a duet and there are some of the funniest highlights from past series.

Some of the most popular girls who have appeared on the last series of Blind Date are dressed to represent relevant months and perform in a photo shoot for ex-Blind Date conlestant Paul Boodell.

Three years ago, on Cilla Black's Blind Date, Alex met Sue. To the great delight of the producers, the two fell in love and became the first, and so far the only, couple to marry after meeting on the show. They were scheduled to marry on Saturday. with Cilla's cameras on hand, and the show goes out tonight.

Cilla Black presents a seasonal special including a look at the 100th edition of Blind Date and, of course, the show's first wedding. Tonight's programme features some musical trests performed by ex-Blind Daters, with a tribute to the music of the Sixties, from London’s Chelsea Harbour.
