Where does she actually want to go, Tilia? As general director of the ORF, she has already achieved her great professional goal, and now she also seems to find her private happiness with the Minister of the Interior, Barnabas Kampp. Karl, on the other hand, is allowed to play the househusband, while his wife Margot Wu makes life difficult for Tilia as Chancellor. Conny, on the other hand, feels quite comfortable as a weather chief, but what is she supposed to do when Jana returns from maternity leave? Where is weather star Otto Czerny-Hohenburg? When the popular presenter does not appear at work, Jana goes looking for him and discovers a hot lead. That's when the attractive Moritz appears in the weather department and enchants not only Sandra and intern Madeleine. Conny is also impressed and brags to her new assistant, which Möttl can only wonder about. When all of a sudden the Russians appear on the scene again and try to convince Karl of a business idea with hefty means. Once again, Conny shoots the biggest bird. Since she brings secret documents to the public, she gets into a lot of trouble with her boss and mother Tilia Konstantin, which in turn makes Jana very happy and culminates in a serious dispute in the weather department.

Otto Czerny-Hohenburg has been kidnapped! But even in his dungeon he remains true to himself and his demands and makes life difficult for his kidnappers. While the police under the leadership of Tilia's newly married husband Barnabas are feverishly investigating, Tilia tries to scrape together the ransom money herself just in case. But this time, too, Conny has what she thinks is the very best idea of how Otto can be freed and nothing can stop her. The fact that Jana is still in love with Lukas is even noticed by Conny's new assistant Moritz. Until Jana finds out something shocking about Lukas and she doesn't know what to think of it anymore. Meanwhile, Karl gets involved in half-baked business with the Russians, which his wife, the Chancellor, does not like at all.

After his liberation, Otto could actually take it easy, but the TV star smells the opportunity to get the best possible publicity out of his kidnapping and of course overshoots the mark as always. When Conny wants to cast a new weather presenter, Tilia wants to be more of a nice boss than a strict mother for a change and just lets her daughter do what she wants. But this trust quickly takes its toll. While the police are groping in the dark, Lukas can be glad that he and his mother are not associated with Otto's kidnapping. Only Jana knows the truth. And so that Tilia doesn't get bored as general director, she gets into real trouble with the new wife of her ex-husband Karl and current Chancellor.

In an ORF magazine, rumors about Chancellor Margot Wu were spread, against Tilia's will. Tilia feverishly tries to save the situation and sinks deeper and deeper into the mess. For Otto, too, it is a matter of justice when he is summoned as a juror. The trial case about an old lady seems to be solved quickly, but Otto doesn't want to be just in the second row and pushes the judge to her limits. While Lukas is thinking about coming back to the weather department, Jana finally wants to know where she stands with him. Conny's problems with a self-propelled camera seem to pale in comparison if she weren't unhappily in love with her assistant Moritz. But he has other interests. Only Karl, as the newly appointed managing director of a company for ominous seeds, seems satisfied, but only because he doesn't know what else is in store for him.

The affair over the false reporting of Chancellor Wu is expanding. Tilia is up to her neck in water. Then she surprisingly confides in the person she often distrusts, namely Conny. Lukas is also cornered because Jana knows that he was involved in the kidnapping of Otto. Karl is deeply shocked when he learns what abstruse business the Russians really want to involve him in. To top it off, his ex-wife Tilia also makes him an immoral offer. And Otto decides that his audience must never forget him. He just makes his own obituary, but stupidly it won't go on air until Otto dies, right?

Relationships can be complicated. Especially those of Karl and Tilia. The two try to prove Tilia's innocence together and thus take on the Chancellor, who also happens to be Karl's wife. And things are getting exciting again with Lukas. He doesn't want to be with Jana, but he finds intern Madeleine interesting, but she is already dating Moritz. And Conny would actually have had her eye on Moritz, but she becomes very painfully aware that she is not as popular as she would like to be. The only way to help is online dating. Otto also fights for attention again, but this time he reaches too deep into his bag of tricks and gets tangled up between old love affairs, Moroccan giraffes and imaginative truths. Until Tilia finally has had enough and puts her foot down. But some people only hear what they want to hear. And more drastic measures are needed for them!

Dangers lurk always and everywhere. TV star Otto dares to look into the future, but he really can't expect what is in store for him. And so he has to do what he does best - dazzle his opponents and put himself in the light. Unfortunately, he underestimated Ignaz Klahr. Tilia wants to turn him into a serious weather presenter, but the shy Ignaz seems to be unsuitable to appear in front of an audience. That he is not underestimated! And you should never lose sight of Tilia either, especially not Chancellor Margot Wu. Because suddenly Karl, Tilia and her husband, the Minister of the Interior Barnabas, are working together. Things are less fluffy for Conny, who longs for a nice man just as much as Möttl longs for a touch. But there is little left for the two of them, because Lukas, Moritz, Madeleine and Jana are busy with each other. That's not the only reason why Conny is now really angry and that suits her particularly well!

Tilia is also not really in a celebratory mood, because now her husband will probably fall up the career ladder and Tilia would be demoted to the chancellor's wife. To prevent this, she needs a really good plan. Conny takes a liking to her #angryconny role until finally a nice young man appears on the horizon. Things are actually going really well for Lukas again, if Jana didn't keep reminding him of the kidnapping of Otto. Weather star Otto has long forgotten this episode in his life, because he is now dealing with a real threat that needs to be eliminated. And Ignaz becomes all too impressively aware of how literally this is meant, in other words: duck good, all good.

Barnabas is deeply disappointed in his wife because she has made the chancellorship impossible for him and Otto does not understand at all why a little megalomania should be bad. But Tilia can't deal with that, because she has to personally take care of tangible weather problems. Jana had warned impressively, but who could have known what a bit of heavy rain could trigger? Lukas probably, but he is picked up by the police and interrogated about Otto's kidnapping. While Conny tries to get used to her new boyfriend, Madeleine and Moritz also seem to get closer - but in the end there is an unpleasant surprise for everyone.
