The first episode focuses on a particularly magical time – the birth of a new pet. For the happy owners, this can also be a period of worry, however, as the vulnerable young creatures can fall prey to any number of potential problems in their first days in a brand new world. The programme follows three new litters of puppies, kittens and piglets, all of which will continue to be monitored throughout the series.
