After the dramatic events that took place in Duchniki, Piotr Wolnicki awaits trial in a cell. Agnieszka Polkowska has no doubt that she has caught a serial killer, a sociopath who almost took her daughter's life. The testimonies of Jola and her mother will certainly lead to a conviction. Wrońska informs Mrówiec and Polkowska that the case of the young girl's death has already been solved. The murderer left a suicide note in which he admitted guilt and then committed suicide. Agnieszka is certain that Klaudia is another victim of Wolnicki and insists on questioning him again. Even Mrówiec is unable to convince her of her theory. It seems that she has no choice but to abandon the investigation and go to Jola in London.
