rock up with the new sofa? It’s a replacement for the one Karl shared with ex Zoe, and he needs to get shot of the old one fast. All he wants is to be left alone, but when the locals find out he’s on his own they make a point of reaching out to him. That means being pestered by his neighbour and having to shun a shop assistant’s attempts to sign him up for anything from rambling to tandem mountain biking.
