She is worried about how to keep her pregnancy a secret and avoid the office gossip, but she can't escape from it. Soon everyone finds out she's pregnant, and worse: that Mr. Price, her boss, is the baby's father! When she goes to him to clear out the story, he feels proud. No matter how hard she tries, her job duties seem to be way over her limits, so her boss hires an assistant to help her while she's pregnant. Charlotte warns her the so-called assistant will stop at nothing to take her job – much like Tracy did to the woman who had her job before her. The doctor advises her to slow down at work and she refuses to, and even her mother gives an example on how some African pregnant women are put into a safety ""hut"" until their babies are born. Her mother decides then to set her up with Jeff, a guy she dated years ago who now is doing very well on the dog shampoo business. The only thing is Tracy doesn't like the guy, but has second thoughts about him when he proposes to help her raise the child.
