Election night 2006 at the Social Democratic party headquarters. The election is lost, and the struggle for power over the party begins. When outgoing Prime Minister Viksten decides to remain as party leader the start of a game behind the scenes commences to replace him with Finance Minister Gert Jakobsson. While Jakobsson appears calm and in control in his profession, he shows a vastly different side of himself at home.
