Peter Wyngarde play - Set in Algeria when French colonial rule was under great pressure from the Algerian nationalists on one side and the diehard French colonials on the other. The Crossfire is a typical example of the sort of ensemble dramatic production that Wyngarde would regularly appear in during the 60's.
