Jude is back from a summer tour with her band SME and comes home to find a very different G Major. The record label is now run by media mogul Darius Mills and the fur flies when Jude doesn't play by his rules at a music showcase. Meanwhile, Tommy is busy trying to appease Darius and has no time for Sadie when she returns from Europe.
Jude returns to G Major to beg Darius for forgiveness; Jamie loses his job at G Major and blows up at Jude. Also, Tommy and Sadie reunite. The winner of the new G Major contest is chosen.
