Their different sleep schedules and their cramped master suite makes it impossible for them to get ready for work with out waking each other up. Chip reorganizes this 50's ranch style home by creating new master suite from an unused family room. The new master suite has a separate sleeping room and custom his and her bathroom vanities.

Homeowners Bill and Jennifer Langley's solid concrete house has one big living/dining room downstairs that is the only space for entertaining family, friends and kids. But when everyone's gathered, it's crowded and the noise level is a nightmare. Designer/contractor Chip Wade wants to relocate the kids when they entertain, give Jennifer a home office to replace the small nook she's using upstairs, and spruce up the backyard. Chip restructures this house by building a home office/den from an existing patio structure, creates custom built-in seating to open up the flow, and cuts through the concrete wall for access to the new outside BBQ area.

Policeman and messy backyard BBQ chef Eddie Smith's daughter Taylor calls on designer/contractor Chip Wade to surprise her dad with a basement and outdoor patio makeover. The basement is filled with Eddie's work out equipment and the adjacent patio is a mess of old rusty BBQ grills. In the basement Chip tears out a sagging ceiling, extends the patio space, and creates a custom window/ projector screen. This ultimate hang out space includes a new BBQ counter top, seating outside, a decked out fitness room, and a custom king size couch big enough for everyone in the family to enjoy watching a movie or the big game.

The Mattison's are a family who loves to cook for family and neighbors, but their outdated kitchen is keeping them from creating those big family style meals they dream about. Designer/contractor Chip Wade wants to give them a space that can accommodate their love of food and friends. Chip overhauls this kitchen by ripping out the old cabinetry, island and walls. He further expands the entertaining space by sprucing up the adjacent outdoor deck and installs large carriage style doors. To add function to this foodie dream kitchen Chip adds pull out storage and a wine lovers dream wine cabinet. This kitchen is going to be party central.

Marie and Rob Hunter bought their home because it's in a nice neighborhood with lots of families and great schools. It was a foreclosure and they knew they'd have to put some work into it, but when their contractor took their money and left them with half finished project they needed help! Enter Designer/Contractor Chip Wade, he's going to open up their first floor and give them the communal great room they've always wanted. Chip tears out the maze of walls and low ceilings and adds architectural interest with a new ceiling truss, updates the kitchen with custom walnut nut cabinetry and links the spaces with a new sleek kitchen island.

The toys are taking over! Christine and Jim Newton's home is littered with their two girls' toys, including their basements' guestroom/office. Designer/contractor Chip Wade wants to remove the toy clutter by creating a bedroom and play space for the girls and give Jim his home office back. Chip creates fun village facades for the girls to play with, installs an interactive gaming light floor, and adds tons of storage for their clothes and toys. Who says a grown man can't make dollhouses?

Air Force pilot Preston and his wife Greer have moved so much that they've never bothered to decorate their homes. Now that they've bought a house they are eager to make it their own. Problem is, they don't know how to fix their ugly kitchen that's closed off from the rest of the house. Designer/contractor Chip Wade gets to work with an aggressive plan - create an open air kitchen by tearing out the back wall of the house and repurpose their unused patio into a dining area. And that's not all! He also plans to incase the new space with frameless sliding door and an outdoor pizza oven to create the perfect place to entertain friends and family.

Todd Brown relocated his family to Atlanta for his job. He got his kids excited about the move by promising a great backyard with a tree house. Todd has been trying to make this happen, but his skills and time are limited. And to connect the house to the garage Chip builds an outdoor deck that is an extension of their living space, which is outfitted with custom planters, seating and a fireplace, perfect for entertaining.

John and Sherri thought they had the perfect house until about a year ago, when John took a job with a company based out of Philadelphia. Now they both work from home and are sharing a tiny cramped space that makes it impossible to get any work done.
