We fly from Berlin to Marrakesh and head straight for the Atlas Mountains the next morning. Many meters of altitude, secluded mountain villages, and a mountain pass with countless hairpin bends await us.

The first defect on his bike and a nighttime descent through mystical mountain villages lead Fritz to an unusual place to sleep. The next morning, there are some very exciting locations on the route, and the path takes him through a wide plateau. In the evening, he returns to the climbs and is back in a beautiful mountain region.

It is cold and there was frost overnight. Two weeks ago, there was still a good half meter of snow in this region. Next, Fritz heads for the highest pass of the entire tour. 2,900 meters above sea level and countless hairpin bends await him today. On his way to the Sahara, he spends another night under the open sky.

Fritz reaches the Sahara and spends the night in the middle of the dunes in a large desert tent. On the way to the next stage destination, camels can be seen again and again at the side of the road. A highlight is the night in a traditional mountain hut made of clay. A change in the weather, with a sharp drop in temperature, strong winds, and torrential rain, thwarts the plans that had been made in advance.

It heads to the most remote part of the route to an abandoned mining town. Shafts, bridges, and residential buildings are waiting to be explored. The route continues along gravel roads through the solitude, and suddenly Fritz ends up in a fenced-off area with security guards who check him.

The situation with the aggressive dogs continues to escalate. Fritz spots a pack of dogs with blood-smeared faces dragging a dead donkey. A new plan is needed. After many unpleasant and dangerous situations, Fritz makes a decision.
