The beast furiously pounces on Armida, but Celeste, driven by her protective instinct, intervenes and prevents the tragedy. In the struggle, she is injured, leaving everyone in shock. Aída, seeing her friend's sacrifice, assures him that Armida now owes her life. Sara tries to calm Andrés, assuring him that she will care for him like a son, but he, hurt and suspicious, replies that if he truly cared, he wouldn't leave him in the hands of his father. Seeing Carolina and Óscar pursuing them, she makes a decision that changes her fate: she betrays Carlos and allows the boy to return to his mother. However, while she is detained by the authorities, Carlos manages to escape. Although Carolina explains to Andrés that Sara acted wrongly by allying herself with his father, the boy reminds her that, in the end, it was she who helped him escape. Moved, he approaches to thank her for her noble gesture, while Sara, through tears, apologizes for all the harm caused.
