Hayakawa meets Konno on the school rooftop, and they quickly become friends and keep each other company. One day, Konno sees Hayakawa engaging in unusual behaviour with a senior, and Konno and Hayakawa make eye contact.

Hayakawa always suppresses his emotions because of past trauma. Konno notices this and invites him to relax at home. The interaction between the two gradually heats up, but when Konno shows concern, Hayakawa's emotions explode. Suddenly, the atmosphere between the two changes.

Konno accidentally discovers Hayakawa's tape recorder and learns about his past trauma. Konno decides to encourage Hayakawa to pick up music again, and their relationship gradually deepens.

Hayakawa once again pursues his dream of music and faces his feelings for Konno. After the final exam, Hayakawa bravely sings in front of everyone and confesses his feelings in the form of music.

大学の同期・南（久保乃々花）にせがまれ、早川（宇佐卓真）と紺野（平野宏周）は再び顔を合わせることに。しかし、紺野と南の距離の近さに高校時代の記憶がよみがえり、またもや早川の胸をざわつかせた。一方の紺野も、南と楽しそうに話す早川に、複雑な感情を抱いていた。 いつも以上に酒を煽った紺野を放っておけず、早川は自宅で介抱する。ベッドへ無防備に横になる紺野に対し、再びあふれそうになる気持ちを抑えるが、紺野の方からいきなり引き寄せられて… 突然の紺野の行動に頭を悩ませる早川。――あれは一体、どういう意味だったのか。南に様子を伺ってみると、思いがけず紺野が近いうちにニューヨークへ旅立つことを知る。さらに、早川たちのバンドにも大きなチャンスが訪れる。早川と紺野、それぞれの未来が再び動き出そうとしていた――。
