The sworn brothers Guo Xiaotian and Yang Tiexin are drinking and eating, while Qiu Chuji, a daoshi and one of the Seven True Daoists of Quanzhen sect, comes to their door carrying a bag. Three days later in Zuixian Pavilion, Qiu Chuji demands Master Jiaomu to release the hostage Li Ping, but he refuses. Qiu is defeated by the Seven Freaks of Jiangnan, who are hired by Master Jiaomu as a peacemaker. Qiu Chuji comes to Fahua Temple to rescue the hostage. Both of them are weakened by the fight. Just then, Duan Tiande takes the hostage escapes. Master Jiaomu is killed by Duan Tiande when he rush to rescue Qiu Chuji. Qiu Chuji and the Seven Freaks of Jiangnan concludes an agreement.
