An accomplished songwriter as well as solo artist, the soulful crooner has written hits such as Forget You for Cee-Lo Green, occasionally as part of humorously-named production team The Smeezingtons. Hawaii's second best export after Obama, his debut album Doo-Wops and Hooligans spurned two number one singles, Grenade and Just the Way You Are, the latter winning him a Best Male Pop Vocal Grammy.
