Aahana is a strong, independent woman who is on a trip to the glittering harbour city of Hong Kong. She has recently broken up with her fiancé. While exploring the city on her solo trip, she pens down her experiences in Hong Kong with regards to culture, people, food, etc. One day she bumps into a fellow traveller, Amol, who is visiting Hong Kong for work and they decide to have coffee together. While talking about their lives, Aahana tells Amol that she is on a solo trip to rediscover herself. Amol suggests that because they're both in this beautiful city for a few days, they should explore Hong Kong together. And both set out to take on Hong Kong.

Aahana and Amol arrive at the beautiful Big Buddha where they seek blessings and are enjoying the scenic view. Amol notices how Aahana is glued to her diary, making her little notes so, he takes it away and tells her to breathe in each moment rather than pen it down. They're both start getting to to know each other a little more with every experience. At the artwork gallery, Aahana realizes that Amol has misplaced her diary, and in the most discreet manner, Amol manages to retrieve it back while Aahana bursts into laughter. That day they realize that they enjoy each other's company and wondered if there was more in store for this friendship.

After a long day of shopping, Aahana meets Amol for dinner but unfortunately, they fail to find a table at any restaurant. Amol tells Aahana that he has this figured out and asks her to follow him. Amol reveals the surprise to Aahana - which is a romantic candle-light dinner with the entire glittering view skyline of Hong Kong as the backdrop at night. Aahana then learns that it is through her diary is how that Amol got to know about her birthday and he promised her to make it and made it a really special one. The night is f full of drinks, laughter, light, and life. (and blossoming love?)

The eventful night was followed with some surprising news the next morning. Amol reveals he is already engaged and Aahana feels betrayed and led on. They part ways from this trip and each other on a rather unfriendly note. A year later, both accidentally meet in an office they have visited for their respective work and decide to spend some time after Aahana's meeting. Walking down the roads of Bandra, they catch up on what has changed since their trip to Hong Kong. And both agree that things have changed for the better. On learning about Aahana's business proposal, Amol suggests that they could in fact even be Business Associates and decide to take on this new journey together..
