There's No Place Like Tyrone

A new series of Northern Ireland’s first constructed reality show continues to shine a light on rural living in our biggest county. In this episode, farmer's daughter Ruth introduces the newest member of her family as she juggles childcare with last minute preparations for the opening of her brand new beauty salon. Dad John finds himself tasked with turning his granddaughter Maisie into a young entrepreneur and frustrated musician Darryl is torn between doing a job to pay the bills and following his dreams.

Doting grandad John has some business suggestions to help granddaughter Maisie raise the funds for a brand new toy tractor. Ruth plans a much-needed change of scenery for veterinary nurse and part time farmer Rebecca, and Darryl’s quest to make a living from music continues when he books a studio to record a brand new single co-written with his dad Feargal.

Darryl’s home entertainment business lands him in front of an unexpected audience, Rebecca swaps the farm for city living before admitting she’s a country girl at heart, dad Declan gives friend Keith an online cookery lesson, and young Maisie expands on her plans to buy a tractor - much to the disappointment of grandad John.
