The White Vault

We return to Svalbard right where the last season left off. Following the previous installment, the assessment and repair team decide upon actions to take following the abduction of Karina.

The team considers what to do regarding the possible death of Dr. Schumacher-Weiß, and the ventures down the staircase.

With their food supply destroyed, the team must choose between braving the white wastes or enduring starvation in the bunker.

Faced with no other options, the team departs outpost Fristed in the middle of the storm.

The team rushes to follow the trail of an abducted Walter Heath.

A collapse in the cave system leaves the team stranded in the underground village. As they locate more information on the fate of Walter Heath, they also must search for a way to save themselves from the prison of ice.

Believing their salvation lies below, the team descends into the catacombs beneath the village. What they find is a light reprieve and a darker path.

The darkness of the cave offers up thrashing lampreys to drive the team forward, deeper into the winding maze of rock and ice.

Pursued by dangers, the team makes a profound discovery on their journey through the tunnels.

Hope nowhere in sight, the Fristed Expedition comes to its conclusion. As the team’s recordings run out we peel back the curtain on the scope of the investigation.
