The RFK Tapes

Fifty years after the assassination of Senator Robert F. Kennedy, questions about the crime still linger. The RFK Tapes will explore the case through rare recordings and new interviews to try to understand what really happened on June 5, 1968. A new ten-part documentary series from the makers of Crimetown. Premiering June 5.

In 1990, Bill went to Texas to interview a woman named Geneva White. He recorded her chilling deathbed confession about her husband’s possible involvement in the murder of President John F. Kennedy. When Bill played excerpts from his interview on a radio program, he started down the path that led him to the Robert F. Kennedy case.

Last week, Zac and Bill sat down in front of a live audience at The Bell House in Brooklyn. The show featured a heated debate between Bill and special guest Dan Moldea, plus musical performances by Rosaleen Eastman.

On the night of Robert Kennedy’s murder, a young photographer named Scott Enyart had his film confiscated by the LAPD. When Enyart sued the city more than twenty years later, Bill Klaber was there.

A collection of the best Robert F. Kennedy stories and speeches that didn't make it into the show, featuring speechwriter Adam Walinsky, special assistant William vanden Heuvel and campaign coordinator Steve Isenberg.
