As the ecavation of the wreck site continues, sharks begin to harass the divers with one eventually attacking Stoneman as he returns to the Foundation's vessel. More gold and silver is found as a hurricane warning forces the team out of the area, but now before they add a beautiful solid gold crucifix set with rubies to their extensive treasure trove. Stoneman vows to come back to the wreck site one day to finish the hunt for the silver thought to have been aboard the vessel.

This episode looks at artificial reefs in the form of a number of specially sunk shipwrecks along the Florida coastline. These vessels now serve as a means to attract marine life for the benefit of sport and commercial fishermen and the ever-increasing numbers of scuba divers. The members of the Foundation for Ocean Research visits some of these shipwrecks and examine the success of the program, which is generating worldwide attention. They even make a contribution of their own, a derelict 130' steam yacht.
