Schiffmacher's Legacy

Morrison puts a sentimental tattoo on her father Henk. His other daughter, Texas, goes out with Henk. She photographs him with her best friend: musician Ray Fuego. Ray Fuego is the support act for De Jeugd van Today and the Schiffmachers are going to the concert. In addition to relaxation, Henk and his wife Louise also make an effort. They go to the gym together. Douwe Bob also visits the tattoo shop for a tattoo. One without text, because that doesn't always go well with Henk.

The Schiffmachers are going to clean out their house together, which now resembles a museum with the amount of stuff. They also take a trip to Aachen, where they visit a tattoo convention. Here Henk is literally asked the question of everything. Back in Amsterdam, Ray Fuego and Pepijn Lanen visit the shop to have a unique design made by Henk.

Henk takes his daughters to Harderwijk: the place where he grew up. They visit his brothers and dig through photo archives. Henk also visits the cemetery with his daughters, where many Schiffmachers find peace. In the meantime, Louise also reminisces about old memories and visits her good friend and ex-wife of Henk, Patricia Steur. They have a colorful past.

Henk and Arie Boomsma will experience culture on the red light district, visit the old tattoo parlor and talk about fatherhood. Henk takes Morrison to Naturalis where they draw together like they used to do. Henk and Louise also visit good friend and Japanese tattoo artist Yushi Takei in Rotterdam. Andy van der Meijde visits the tattoo shop and the shop's sixteenth anniversary is celebrated.

The Schiffmachers are in Mexico City. There they visit Tepito, one of the most notorious and dangerous neighborhoods in Mexico. The art and culture of the area intrigues the family. Their eye falls on a small tattoo shop where Henk is having a tattoo done by the owner. They also visit a large Christmas market that turns into a witches' market, where Henk is blessed and Louise has her future predicted. Finally, the whole family enjoys a cultural game of wrestling: lucha libre.

The Schiffmachers continue their journey in Mexico. They visit ex-convicts who teach them about the methods of tattooing in Mexican prisons. Henk and Louise cannot miss this opportunity and get a tattoo. The family also visits artist Doktor Lakra. His shop is one of the largest in the world. Henk is put to work here and this attracts the necessary Mexican fans. Back in the Netherlands, a surprise awaits: Mayor Femke Halsema visits the shop with a prestigious award for Henk.
