After a first-hand insight into the Fiordland Wapiti Foundation's venison project, Greg and Willie go walkabout, searching for an impressive Wapiti bull they left to grow on a previous trip.

Under the watchful eye of ex Forest Service deer culler Derrick Field, Willie dons some vintage gear for a walk through the Ruahine ranges to see if he's still up to standard of the bushmen of old.

With the move to COVID-19 alert level 3 allowing hunting on private land, Willie joins bubbles with Tyron Southward and his son on a quest to secure 8-year-old Archie's first ever red stag.
