あやめは心の痛みを押し殺し、一緒に暮らしていた部屋から凍也との思い出の品を捨てはじめる。彼がいた痕跡を消し、再スタートを切ろうとした矢先、刑事の金原（うらじぬの）から、「凍也が釈放された」と連絡が入る。夫が心から反省しているから…と夏音が被害届を取り下げたのだ。
「どうして？」
そう問いただすあやめに、夏音は思いもよらない言葉を口にする。

凍也と夏音を特別な絆で結び付けた、高校時代の“秘密”がついに明らかに…。

「あやめを、待ってた」
階段から突き落とされ、血を流す最上陽子（神野三鈴）に目もくれず、あやめにゆっくり詰め寄る凍也。制御不能な“魔物”と化し、憎しみを叫びながら襲い来る凍也に、あやめは涙を流しながら必死に抵抗する。
「謝れ」

そのころ、凍也に激しく殴られ気を失っていた夏音（北香那）は離れで目を覚まし、着の身着のまま名田邸に逃げてきて、凄惨な現場を目の当たりにする。
夫の支配から逃れられない夏音は、割れた鏡の破片を拾うと、切っ先をなんとあやめに向けて――。
