Kizuna

From childhood friends (since elementary) to lovers (since high school), Kei and Ranmaru have been through a long road consisting of hardships and fond memories. Now in college, they face a new challenge to their relationship when the son of a Yakuza boss (and incidentally Kei's half-brother), Kai, attempts to steal Ranmaru from Kei (and, of course, fails). Ranmaru is the best fencer in his school. One day while he and his friend, Enjoji, are walking home from school, Yakuza from a rival syndicate try to run his friend over with their car. Ranmaru pushed his friend out of the way and gets hit instead. This event sparks the romance between Ranmaru and Enjoji. A few years later the relationship between them is still strong until Enjoji's half-brother, Kai, shows up and trys to take Ranmaru away from Enjoji. Then Masa, Kai's companion and mentor, shows up to see Kai.

Ranmaru Samejima is a very handsome and legendary school fencing champion whose sports career comes to an abrupt end after he is mistakenly run over by a car intended to kill his boyfriend, Enjoiji, the son of the mafia don in Osaka. Because of Enjoji's unwavering love and encouragement. Ranmaru is able to successfully recover. After a few years of living and loving together, they happen to learn that Enjoji's half brother, Kei Sagano, is not only living near them but has enrolled in the same college to be closer to Ranmaru his secret love. Kei's presence causes some conflict for the happy couple. After a long talk with Masanori Araki, Kei's substitute father, Kei realizes that he has no chance whatsoever of stealing Ranmaru from Enjoji.

Enjouji and Ranmaru are a mostly-happy couple, but when Ranmaru finds lipstick on Enjouji, he becomes suspicious and leaves in a huff. Enjouji follows Ranmaru throughout the day. As they do so, the two men think about their past and their uncertain future.
