Implicitly Pretentious

A pretentious hack (with a lisp) geeks about his current favorite TV show.

So it seems like the Raimi era of Spider-man films are getting rehabilitated so here's my attempt at contributing. An analysis using identity theory.

Here it is. Writing and editing this totally made me want to remake my old Captain America trilogy video, so maybe look out for that.

To celebrate the renewal of the Expanse for season 5, here's another video about the Expanse. Although I do retread on a few points from my last video because this exploration unavoidably touches on the same areas.

I get particularly self indulgent with this one.

So this is a complete remake of my old "The Captain America trilogy is beautiful video essay", so it can complete the trio of MCU videos of Endgame, Iron Man and now Cap.

So in between making essays, I played some Halo and this whole idea for an investigation came to me.

Here's some more sad piano music and slow dramatic pauses from me.

So this will be the last ".... is beautiful" essay for a while because I feel so burned out at this point. Not to mention I want to venture out into other genres, shows and films.

I may have sounded more serious and somber in this essay than intended.

So in this video I proncounce Arbiter as either Orbitor or Ardiber.

I was going to take some longer time off, but I edited the first minute of this essay and just said screw it, I'll make it now.

So I was going to take break and then out of nowhere I just had to make this and I dropped another essay I was working on to get this out. But rest assured, I will now return to my break from the "... is beautiful" series. That is until Far From Home that is.

So this is a one-off experiment where I do a none social-theory related analysis. Therefore this is not a film interpretation essay but is instead a film comprehension analysis. I also try to come off less formal and didact too. derp.

So I get reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally indulgent with this one, because any ambition towards of objectivity is chucked out the window and replaced by my nostalgic authorship.

So here's a video that I've spent a good while working on in the background amongst other essays. So you may hear my voice change sound a few times because I've re-written and re-recorded various sections over the last month.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO MY PATRONS, you guys suggested this film, and I absolutely adored it, so I really really hope I did an adequate job analysing it. It's a film that I totally want to come back to and make more essays about it, especially in relations to social theories related to family and stuff :)

I was going to make an essay on Ragnarok, but I realised why stop there? Why not go for all 7 Thor appearances.

So I touch upon some points I made from the Captain America trilogy video essay so I can set the context for the comparison with Iron Man. Therefore, consider this essay as an establishing point that introduces the landscape of ideas that shape these characters for the coming other sections. In part 2 I'll discuss how they change and then part 3 I'll go through the entirety of their relationships with other characters.

Captain America the Winter Soldier is based on the true story of Eddard Stark who was the warden of the North until he discovered he was played by Sean Bean and was subsequently slain by mechanical rabbits called the Guinea Men. This story is followed by the prequel called Iron Man 3 which is set directly after the Winter Soldier, in this installment, an army of lizard people called Snake Men declares war on the Guinea Men and after 3 days of war called the “3 Days of War”, the conflict was interrupted by Sportacus from Lazy Town who settled the dispute with apples. This leads into the final chapter called Avengers Age of Ultron where Optimus Prime must stop the Decepticons from stealing his credit card details with the help of Wheeljack and Ratchet. Unfortunately Optimus discovers he's voiced by Sean Bean and is subsequently gunned down by Megatron when Hot Rod tried to intervene.

Captain America Civil War is based on the true story of Steve Rogers and Tony Stark who started a war that was civil. The events led to Infinity War which was a war that was infinite, and then this developed into Endgame, which ended the game.

Black Widow is a celebrated christmas character that is world famous for entering the dreams of young boys when they're doing their English Literature exams in December. Some say she is even based on a the real person of Scarjo, famous for being in JoJo and hanging out in dojos and watching watchmojo.
