This HiTop Films episode is about the relationship between Clark Kent and Lois Lane in the 1978 Superman film, specifically their first interview and how the DCEU misunderstands what makes Superman, Superman. Do you think I said Superman enough times in this description for YouTube to notice me?

I’m free. You goons can no longer call me a DC hater. The Mystery of DC’s Titans intrigued me. The Tragedy of DC’s Titans broke me. The Triumph of DC’s Doom Patrol has rejuvenated the soul of HiTop Films. I felt the passion by watching Doom Patrol, that’s why I tried to put everything I had into this HiTop Films Video Essay. This isn’t really a Doom Patrol Review, more an a explanation as to why You Need to Watch Doom Patrol. I think Rita is my favorite character. If you’re reading this let me know which member of the Doom Patrol you like the best, Robotman, Negative Man, Crazy Jane, Cyborg? Let’s hope Titans takes a page from Doom Patrol.

In this short HiTop Films video, I refuse to call it a HiTop Quickie or Captain Marvel Review, we discuss the hit film Captain Marvel and how, IN MY OPINION, Captain Marvel Isn’t Great. My big problem with the film was Carol Danvers. Marvel Studios, the MCU, is stellar at character work in pretty much all their films, but not here, not in Captain Marvel. Sorry for the rougher editing, this is less of a HiTop Films Video Essay and more of a review, plus there is like no footage from Captain Marvel available. Please stop yelling at Brie Larson.

Is the title of the film, Shazam, or Shazam! Either way this is the HiTop Films review of Shazam. Should I call Shazam, Shazam? Or should I call Billy Batson, Captain Marvel? Who would’ve guessed that David F. Sandberg would be the one to completely set the DC Universe Films on track. Shazam is the Perfect DC Movie. It’s everything I hoped it would be and more. Does liking Shazam make me a DCEU fanboy now? Probably.

The Guardians of The Galaxy are a group of very flawed individuals in the Marvelous MCU. Nothing sums up their beautiful flaws better than the Farewell Yondu moment, a rather Marvelous Scene. I guess you could say that HiTop Films has a flawed relationship with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so instead HiTop Films is discussing this One Marvelous Scene. I relate to Rocket Raccoon in a lot of ways, hopefully you goons feel the same. Hopefully we all can relate to the flaws of Yondu and The Guardians. Because without flaws, there is no Marvel.

It’s finally here, the Spider-Man Video Essay to end all Spider-Man videos. The Spider-Man Series that will be the final HiTop Films Spider-Man video. This is Part 1 of the Raimi’s Spider-Man series, hence why it’s called Raimi’s Spider-Man - The Perfect Origin (Part 1). God, I love Sam Raimi. I love Spider-Man 1, or just, Spider-Man. What can I say, The Raimi Trilogy is perfect, to me. As always, thank you for your support. It truly is… amazing.

Sam Raimi had to top Spider-Man 1 with Spider-Man 2. So I felt that I needed to top Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man - The Perfect Origin (Part 1). So I locked myself in the HiTop Films office until I completed Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2 - The Perfect Superhero Movie (Part 2). Only one more Spider-Man Video Essay left and that’s Spider-Man 3. I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I loved making it. This one is for Sam Raimi and for everyone who was inspired and continues to be inspired by The Raimi Trilogy.

Titans Season 1 broke my heart. I thought it would be fun, and hold you guys over until Raimi Part 3, if I took at the first episode of Titans Season 2. Robin, Raven Starfire, Beast Boy and (too many) other characters have made their return. The first HiTop Films Teen Titans video was a mystery (The Mystery of DC’s Titans), the second was a Tragedy (The Tragedy of DC’s Titans) and now this final(?) Titans video is The Return of DC’s Titans. Don’t worry, I still plan to cover the other DC Universe shows, especially Doom Patrol. Thank you all. At least it’s better than our Robin fan film.

Sam Raimi went through a lot when making Spider-Man 3. This is the finale, the almost perfect finale to the HiTop Films Spider-Man Series.The last HiTop Films Spider-Man Video. If you haven’t watched Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man - The Perfect Origin (Part 1) or Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2 - The Perfect Superhero Movie (Part 2), I recommend watching those before you watch Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3 - The Almost Perfect Finale (Part 3). The Raimi Trilogy made me the (boy) man I am today. Thank you Sam Raimi, thank you to everyone involved with making the trilogy, and thank YOU for watching.

Avengers Endgame, and Avengers Infinity War, were movies that I sadly didn't love. The Russo Brothers made two Avengers films that left me torn. Hopefully this Video Essay by your ol' pal HiTop Films manages to provide you with a different perspective on these films and the MCU as a whole. I want to love the Marvel Cinematic Universe just like I used to, but movies like Endgame have me scared for the future.

I said I, HiTop Films, was done making videos on Titans, DC’s Titans. I said that The Mystery of DC’s Titans, The Tragedy of DC’s Titans, and Titans Season 2 is Still a MESS was the complete HiTop Films Titans series. I said that I was done talking about this adaptation of Dick Grayson, of Robin, of Nightwing. I’m sorry, I’m a liar. I finished watching the finale and knew I had to make a video. I had to come out and say that I honestly believe that Titans is the Worst Superhero Show. This is the finale of my Titans series, I will not make another video, I will not watch Season 3. Titans - The Worst Superhero Show is my final thoughts. Thank you for watching my descent into madness.
