Draumen om eit småbruk

It's early spring on Lundemannsverk and the first season is on its way. There's an incubator with eggs in the kitchen and Sverre has to build a hen house. This year they have to start making money.

More chickens are on the way, but the hen house isn't finished. The greenhouse must be prepared, and vegetables must be put out in the field. Ida fears she's caught aphids on the tomato plants.

Ida has pre-sold 25 boxes of vegetables, and in four weeks she must deliver. Now she is in despair and unsure whether she will be able to make it. Sverre builds the shop and the hens luckily lay eggs.

Ida's worried that the vegetables aren't big enough for the first vegetable box. Will the boxes be full enough? The chickens manage to escape from the chicken coop and the dog Simba takes up the hunt.

It's summer and Ida and the children go on holiday and Sverre is home alone. He realizes how much work it is to produce so many different types of vegetables.

Ida realizes that she has been away at the most crucial time of the season. Vegetables have become overripe and there is a crisis in the cabbage field. Sverre focuses on finishing the pool.

The season is coming to an end and the gigantic pumpkins can finally be harvested. Nevertheless, they haven't earned enough money this season and Ida and Sverre discuss how next year will be.
