It's time again to meet some very unique children. Some we know and others are new. What they all have in common is that they fight to get the best out of life despite their rare disease. Piet is back, and together with his friend Hjalte, they set new standards for being football fans. Also meet the charming four-year-old Nalina, who suffers from Stickler syndrome. She is to be an older sister, and the question is whether the younger brother is also at risk of getting the hereditary disease - and this puts the parents in a dilemma. Rebekka, 13, has Morquio syndrome and struggles with the prospect of a teenage life without being able to do the same as her peers.

Bastian has Crouzon syndrome. He is still waiting for his next cranial surgery, but his teeth are growing too slowly, so the doctors have to put him in braces. Nalina must have checked whether her vision has become worse than the minus 15 she was born with. It is hard for her father, Kasper, who feels great guilt for, unknowingly, having passed on his sick gene to his daughter. Piet gets a shock when he is told that he will probably have to have surgery on his feet. On the other hand, he is going to a concert with his idol Christopher - will they meet? Rebekka receives her weekly enzyme treatment at home. Fortunately, she gets to enjoy cooking with her friends.
