In Australia, Anna visits a rescue center for red kangaroos. It was founded by Brolga, a real kangaroo whisperer. He got the name Brolga from the Aborigines, the indigenous people of Australia. Brolga has taken in around 50 red kangaroos and raised them with a bottle. Anna experiences first hand how the kangaroos come to him.

Anna meets two cuddly little darlings at the Bonorong Animal Park in Tasmania: the wombat girls Willow and Judy. Willow is only one year old, loves to play catch and loves to be cuddled. Judy, on the other hand, will soon be entering puberty. Then she won't be so nice to Anna. It sounds crazy, but it has one big advantage. Judy and Willow can be released back into the wild, even though they were raised by humans.

Gliding possums - this cumbersome name hides a cute little marsupials. Anna gets to know them in the Australian animal park Moonlit Sanctuary near Melbourne. Animal keeper Claudia has a task for Anna: a health check on the dwarf gliding possums. They are not even as big as a hamster and weigh only as much as three pieces of chocolate.

Anna is excited: this time she is getting to know the devil. To be more precise: the Tasmanian devil. To do this, she has traveled to the Bonorong Wildlife Park on the island of Tasmania. She is not entirely comfortable with the dark creatures. The noises the devils make, sound horrible. Greg, the director of the wildlife park, takes Anna into the enclosure.

Anna isn't feeling quite right this time. In Australia she will encounter the most feared predator of the seas: the great white shark! But before she puts on her diving gear and slips into the water, she visits the Melbourne Aquarium. Here she meets Diane, who shows her the fascinating world of sharks.
