Delores falls while grocery shopping, Ian is rejected by his mother, and Lamar burns the candle at both ends, balancing nursing with sex work.

Delores claims she was pushed by a grocery store employee and plots to have her lawyer sister, Gretchen, sue. Ian and Lamar have a chance encounter with Lamar's client, Linda, and her husband, Chuck.

Gretchen knocks over Harold's urn, leading to an argument with Delores. Lamar books a lucrative foursome with Linda and Chuck, but Ian bails at the door. Ian meets an alluring stranger at a party.
