It is 1913 and Edith now lives in London with her husband Ernest. They have a small boy staying with them at their home for awhile and this, along with Edith's nature Notes book, cause her to remember the good times at her old home in the country. Not all of Edith's memories are pleasent, as Edith recalls when her father gave up her family home.
Edith recalls many painful memories from her past, including the loss of two people very close to her. Her husband ernest goes off to war and the arguement between her two brothers, Bernard and Kenneth, finally comes to its conclusion.

This is the final episode of this series. The video takes place in 1920 and the first part of it is contains flashbacks from all of the previous 11 episodes as well as some new ones concerning Edith and her husband. The later part of the episode has Ernest take over the narration for Edith as we take a look at her life's work in nature.
