After the party, Marc and Sylvain grab breakfast before going to Jug's competition at the Olympic Stadium. Sylvain is sad and tells Marc about his discussion with Léa the previous night. He's now more confused than ever. Later on, The Stranger heads to Barloute's show, and requests to see him in his green room after the show. The two don't speak the same language-making communication difficult. The Stranger explains to Barloute that he comes from a distant land that was once free, but which has been under the influence of a bloodthirsty magician for five years now. He heard about a very powerful magician that was living in Montreal, and came here on a mission to bring him back to his home country to help fight the black magic. He even offers $100, 000 for this, but Barloute misunderstood, and thinks that he's trying to offer him $100, 000 to do a magic show on a cruise in the Maldives. He happily accepts the offer. Back at the Olympic Stadium, as Marc and Sylvain leave the show, we understand that Jug had an accident during his completion, he's alive-but lost his big chance to make it big.

Sylvain Le Magnifique's name is on everyones lips the following morning. It's on the front page of newspapers-he transformed Mont-Royal into a giant Boston cream pie donut. He is flooded with calls from journalists, who all want to know how he did it, but Sylvain is distracted by Léas silence. She isn't returning his calls. Léa was at Jug's bedside for a few days, but she finally confronts Sylvain. Jug claims that he saw a tornado forming in front of him on the track and that he panicked and dropped the handlebars, leading to his disqualification. Léa knows all too well that Sylvain is behind this, and that his ego could not bear to see Jug win, so he made this tornado appear. She is furious. Jug is traumatized and does not want to go back on a BMX bike, his career is in jeopardy and all this is the Sylvain fault. Léa forces Sylvain to go and explain to Jug that he was behind this, but doing so would reveal his secret to him. Sylvain regrets his gesture and goes to see Jug at the hospital and meets Bernard who had come to bring flowers for Jug. Bernard is fascinated by Jug. He calls him "authentic". Sylvain explains to Jug that he is a real magician and that he is ashamed of what he did. Jug, still a little in a daze, replies to Sylvain that he is a "real" BMX professional. Bernard was watching and heard this confession. Barloute and Bernard join the Stranger at the airport dressed in Hawaiian shirts, sunglasses and shorts. The stranger arrives a little angry. He shows them the newspaper from that morning and points out the photo of Sylvain and Mont-Royal. Barloute panics, he believes (understandably) that the Stranger wants him replaced by Sylvain. He quickly turns around and convinces the Stranger that he's a very powerful magician. Bernard bids them goodbye, and Barloute and the Stranger leave together for Douchebikistan.

Bernard goes to visit Sylvain-visibly angry. He tells him about the Stranger and the $100,000 contract he offered to Barloute in Douchebikistan. Bernard is very worried because he has not heard from Barloute for a week now and while searching the internet he found a disturbing article on a Buzzfeed-style website-"20 photos that prove that the Douchebikistan is under the influence of a dark wizard." In one of the photos we can see Barloute chained and frightened. Sylvain feels a shiver run through his body. Bernard tells him that he knows his secret, that he listened to his conversation with Jug and he explains to Sylvain that he does not know what to do, but that he has the impression that the Stranger was in fact searching for Sylvain; that he was indeed the "great magician" and not Barloute. He asks Sylvain for help. He is the only one who can do anything. Sylvain, caught up in his conscience due to the incident with Jug, accepts without hesitation. He must go save Barloute, he must use his powers and if he dies-so be it. He leaves hurriedly with Bernard. Marc, who came to visit Sylvain, sees them from his car; walk out of Sylvain's house and take Bernard's car. Intrigued and convinced that he is being betrayed and that Bernard is trying to steal his client, he follows them to the airport. Along the way, his curiosity and indignation grows. On the way Sylvain calls Léa to tell him that he is going to do something very dangerous-that he must go save Barloute. He wanted to tell Léa before leaving that he loves her, but he understands that he can not be together, Lea is touched and cries on the other line. Marc follows them to the airport and sneakily boards the same plane without being seen. The first season ends with this cliffhanger, Bernard, Sylvain and Marc en route to Douchebikistan.
