I was blown up while serving as an Assistant Surgeon in a foreign legion unit. It was just a few miles north of the Antonovsky bridge in Kherson, Ukraine. I returned to London a few months later as my role in the conflict had come to an end. I had planned on documenting what life is like for veterans in the UK as a podcast. I was going to break down what it truly means to be a soldier, speak to those that had served, those that had suffered and triumphed in warfare. I had planned to record long-form interviews and even chart the course of various conflicts... But then I bumped into an old friend mid-record and he introduced me to Mr. Sherlock Holmes. Then everything changed.

THE EDELWEISS MURDER - My companion seemed to resolve the small matter of a murder in Brixton pretty much overnight. The following day I met him - by chance - at our local pub; The Volunteer. It was during a brief bathroom break that we stumbled across our very first case. A case that would lead us to a very dangerous man, an extremely wealthy client and hopefully an influx of listeners.

THE WOMAN COLLECTOR - My companion and I (mostly my companion) had reached the conclusion that the purpose of the mysterious iPhone planted in the toilets of The Volunteer was to convey a message. An ominous message, from our new client at the very pinnacle of British aristocracy; to us. Baron Gruner, suspected of murdering his wife, had set his sights and released his toxic charms on yet another woman (also with a trust fund the size of Lanzarote I suspect). Only my companion and I were out to stop him... Or so we thought.

JANET JACKSON AND THE MING DYNASTY - The Baron was within our grasp but he proved to be a much more violent and unhinged individual than we expected. My companion and I devised a plan with Kitty Winter to get into The Baron's residence, neutralise him and rescue our target. There's also a pub quiz. Cheers.

THE DISAPPEARANCE OF HARRIET DORAN - and the curious termination of her wedding. My companion and I were alerted to a new case - the first for our official status as Sherlock & Co Ltd. We were walking Archie in the park when two distressed American women caught my attention. What they told us was very alarming.

BLOODY MARY was the word and drink on our lips in the hunt for Harriet Doran after the discovery of her wedding dress in the ponds of Regent's Park. The public sympathy, limelight and revenue streams began to flood onto The Noble Bachelor as his fiance remained undiscovered. My companion however, had everything under control... Quite annoying really.

THE KILLING OF MATHEUS GIBSON was by far our most harrowing case yet. A young Brazilian man murdered on Thor Bridge in South-East London. A crime scene I thought we would never be allowed within a mile of, but I guess, as always.. I underestimated my companion. Apologies for my levels of anxiety in this one, blame the coffee... and the murder.

DEATH DO US PART took on a whole new meaning in The Problem of Thor Bridge as our investigations lead us to the recently widowed Naya Gibson. As the case became more and more complicated - it was my companion who searched for the simplest of answers. If you find my shoes, please let me know. Thanks.

THE LAMENTABLE DEATH OF YOUNG WILLOUGHBY SMITH - it was a wild tempestuous night towards the end of November. Pissing it down non-stop and thunder banging around like no-one's business. I had plans to spend a couple of days in London with my Mum.. but the death of Willoughby Smith at Yoxley Old Place changed that. Well actually this case took place over one evening- so I did actually end up spending a bit of time with her. Little too much time to be honest, bit exhausting after a while. Anyway, enjoy the adventure.

THE DYING PREACHER had a lot to answer for. A young man had been murdered not only at his property but in his bedroom. HIS BEDROOM FOR GOODNESS SAKE. Willoughby Smith was stabbed in the neck by an unknown killer right under the nose of the incapacitated Elder Coram. My companion and I arrived at Yoxley Old Place in Chatham in the midst of a fierce storm.

THE KILLER IS IN THE HOUSE - that was the conclusion of my companion as we reached the closing stages of our investigation. All that was left was for the brilliant Detective (and a little bit of me) to put the clues together and locate the murderer of Willoughby Smith. Before 5am. Because otherwise we'd get arrested. No pressure then.

A WILD GOOSE CHASE - or so I initially thought. An ancient Chinese gemstone; to be returned by the British Foreign Office to Chinese delegates in a very glamorous ceremony... WAS GONE. And you won't believe where it was found... Honestly. You won't believe it.

MAD TIDINGS - My companion and I found ourselves in a bizarre scenario as the interrogation of Henry Baker (the butcher) led us to a poultry farm in South London. What happened there... I can only apologise for.

HAPPY NEW EAR(s) - not a phrase you're familiar with? Well, come and have a listen to The Adventure of the Cardboard Box (working title) where my companion and I received a staggering delivery in the post.

THE BLOODY BARGE - will be forever seared into my memory. A haunting sight to say the least, discovered en route to tracking down Jim Browner... which unfortunately we took the scenic route for. And I don't mean London's pretty canal network, I mean chatting up some swingers in a pub. You'll see what I mean.

THE BAD ACTOR AND THE RED FLAGS didn't really dawn on me for sometime... To be honest with you I didn't really think I'd be uploading this adventure when my companion and I first came across it. It seemed boring... But boy was I wrong.

THE BILLIONAIRESS AT THE OPERA - that was our next stop after Pinewood Studios, as The Adventure of the Red-Headed League continued to warp my understanding of just about everything. Not so much Sherlock's understanding though.

A GUN, A MOTORBIKE AND WATERLOO BRIDGE - these are my residing memories of this night. It's a good job I was recording because to be honest, I don't remember much else other than those things. I feel like the adrenaline made my brain melt.

HE CAME FROM THE LAND DOWN UNDER. My companion, Mariana and I headed to Donnithorpe House in Camden, with an old school friend of Sherlock's who was in desperate need of our help.

HUNTED TO THE GRAVE - The Trevor's visitor was out of control and tearing the family apart. We would discover however that this wasn't the first time he had taken down one of his targets... But who those targets truly were became the most pertinent question.

THE DOXXING OF VIOLET CARRUTHERS - the beautiful intruder onto our working lives came around Valentine's Day. I received a card, that's right; me. It was a poem, a requesting of our services. We tracked down Violet, but it seemed we weren't the first to do so...

THE SHOTGUN WEDDING - we couldn't quite grasp the severity of our findings until it was almost too late. Violet had been systematically abused and it was time to intervene... exactly who we were intervening against remained unclear.

THE WHITE RAT KILLER - not really something that I expected to consume my whole week. Sherlock had reason to suspect that a particular townhouse in Kensington Gardens was not all it seemed. We followed his curiosity to the next logical point and it was there where I saw a truly chilling sight.

LIVE AT THE APOLLO - always thought I'd go to The Hammersmith Apollo one day. Didn't think it would be in this capacity. The quest to uncover more about Professor Orson Presbury and 9 Palace Garden Terrace was taking many twists and turns - and it was in seeing him live where the case began to take shape.

ME, MYSELF AND AI - Presbury's home had revealed everything we had suspected about his media empire and his own fate. It was time to hit the perpetrators where it really hurts - on stage and on camera, so the whole world can see them for what they are.

PAINT THE TOWN DEAD - We headed to Lewisham in South-East London to assist in the disappearance of Amber Lee and Dr. Ray Earnest. We were greeted by Amber's husband; Hoang... And before we knew it, the game had begun.

HIDE AND REEK - the search continued and despite our best efforts and that of the police; Hoang's house proved time and time again to be devoid of evidence and bodies. The smell of paint was hiding the smell of death, my companions and I could only shut off our senses, our intruding thoughts, our worries and think clearly about the task at hand. Only then would Amber and Ray be found.

MISSING LIKE A RACEHORSE - at times it felt like not just Britain but the entire planet was gripped by this saga. Every aspect of it was shrouded in tantalising intrigue. It began as many national captivations do... with murder. Sherlock and I headed to Dartmoor to have a crack at solving it and to begin our search for Silver Blaze. Part 1 of 4.

IF THE SHOE FITZ. My companion and I traversed the windy Moors in search of the missing Silver Blaze. That was our second port of call. Our first was to see Inspector Gregory.. and most importantly, the corpse of the late June Straker... But that only left more questions. Part 2 of 4.

THE CURIOUS INCIDENT - I couldn't help feel that we had conjured up more questions than we had actually answered. And worse than that we'd put both our lives in great danger.. and pissed off the locals a little bit too. We needed something that would turn the case on its head and put us back in the game. That's exactly what we found. Part 3 of 4.

OFF TO THE RACES - the case was finally coming together. Sherlock had narrowed down on a motive and the suspects could only be a chosen few from the stable. We headed to the local police station to speak to Fitzroy Simpson. And after that, well, Sherlock kind of took over. Part 4 of 4.

THE DARK ARTS - It was taking some time for the health of my friend - and yours - to recover from the strain caused by his immense exertions recently... Which is why I really wanted to find a means to have some sort of break. In typical fashion however; Sherlock managed to catch a scent of a delicious, juicy case.

FAKE IT UNTIL YOU TAKE IT - We were caught at a junction of dilemmas. Sherlock wasn't well. But things didn't add up. We couldn't abandon the case and leave William Kirwan to his fate. So sort of a mini-roundabout of dilemmas really. It was time to go and see the artwork vaults... And when we did - the case pivoted suddenly in our favour.

HATE THE PLAYER, NOT THE GAME - Summer had found its way to us, as had the case of Miles Sutherland. This one came to us from an email - and the correspondence would remain remote until we could track down and locate 'Angel'.

FALLEN ANGEL - my companion believed he had tracked down the voice of 'Angel'. We had a firm grip on the mystery of Miles Sutherland, we just couldn't let it slip away.

WE'LL MEET AGAIN - a song that will never be the same to me now. My companion had been working on a mysterious code that required a knowledge of popular music to crack. That's where Dr. John Watson can certainly be of service.

STALK THE STALK - it was earth-shattering. I can't describe it. The feeling of being at the centre of that swirling, chaotic tragedy. Sherlock was doing well to hide his pain and frustration. I was doing better than usual in keeping things together, if I do say so myself. It was time to figure out who Abe Slaney was and how to stop him.

AMERICAN LONEWOLF IN LONDON - we had hastily constructed a code for Abe Slaney, as if we were Elsie. We were going to get him to return to The Norfolk and 'rescue' his beloved. Little did he know, we were waiting. Along with about 87 armed police officers.

GONE GIRL - Sherlock and I had decided to have a bit of a holiday... when I say holiday- I mean just outside Swindon. What was planned to be a trip where we escaped mystery and crime-solving for a few days turned into... well.. mystery and crime-solving.

YOU'VE GOT A FAST CAR - that would be an understatement for Shoscombe Motors. The Falders had a fleet of some of the most prized cars on the planet... but Robert was orchestrating their sale. Things didn't add up. Oh and my ex-girlfriend was there for all this.

A BONE TO PICK - that would be putting it mildly given our grievances towards Robert Norbertson. It was time to confront the steward of Shoscombe Old Place and get answers as to Beatrice's whereabouts.

THE WHITE WHALE - we were paid a visit by Maud Bellamy from the island of Fjara. There had been some unusual activity in her community for a few months and now her fiance was found dead. Questions needed answering, so the gang (not Archie, he stayed with Wiggins) headed to the remote Scottish island of Fjara.

DEMON OF THE SEA - the iconography was everywhere we stepped on the island. Etchings of her on walls, murals in the pub, poems and songs depicting her beauty but also her brutality. Had Harris Stackhurst really fallen victim to an attack from a fantastical demon of the deep?

DEATH IN THE SOUL - My companions and I were close to embarking on our submersible. A journey in which Sherlock would reveal how Harris Stackhurst died - yet Mariana and I had got ourselves into trouble trying to figure out why he died. It would take a trip to Bellamy's Barnacles to bring the adventure into full focus.

A UNIVERSITY CHALLENGE - this one I just didn't see coming. Sherlock had been asked to do a speech to some Oxford Criminology Students. Despite being deep into the summer; the class were still awaiting their final assessment due to some remarkable circumstances.... Enter Sherlock & Co Ltd.

A CULPRIT ON CAMPUS - as I nursed my hangover in the cobbled streets of Oxford, my companion was hunting down his suspects. I had overdone it on the alcohol, he had overdone it on the investigation. We were hurtling towards a climax during his much-dreaded speech. What could possibly go right..

THE BEST ADVENTURE EVER - is featured in this adventure, which is a totally separate adventure.. Due to some massive, irreparable technical faults that I'm really, really sorry about you have to have this adventure instead. But yeah. Enjoy The Red Circle or whatever. Part 1 of 4.

THE ITALIAN JOB - this case was beginning to open up to us. The QR Code killer was on the loose and only we had discovered the identity of the next victim. We just had to find him first. Still not as good as the Lord Harmson adventure though. Stupid mic. Part 2 of 4.

MANHUNT - My companions and I were now in full flight crossing the span of England to track down yet another target and potential victim of The Red Circle. We departed Romsey at pace and made our way northwards. Time was against us. Part 3 of 4.

BADFELLAS - In a mad dash through Howe Street and Russell Square I found myself in a battle with a Mob Boss. The only thing that would improve upon the glory of this moment would be if the mic actually worked properly but I'm gonna let that go now. The team and I had finally closed the pincers of justice on Rosso Gorgiano. Lord Harmson case still better. Whatever. Part 4 of 4.

CRISIS AT THE CLINIC - My companion and I were strolling triumphantly down Baker Street one morning when we came across Dr. Percy Trevelyan requiring our services. It seemed like a simple case upon first glance... it became anything but. Part 1 of 3.

NIGHT TERROR - I couldn't believe the sense of dread and tension that clinic could emit when night fell. Sherlock and I headed back after a bumpy night to ask questions of the resident patient Avery Blessington. He was a lot less welcoming than we expected. It was time for another sleepover to get to the bottom of things. Part 2 of 3.

GHOSTS OF THE PAST - Where we found ourselves now, from where we began this case.. It was simply unfathomable that it would end like this. This supposed simple break-in had turned into a nightmare. We had to make sense of everything.. and that process would start by looking at our resident suspects... Part 3 of 3.

SURAKULA - The show has been out for exactly one year and.. I have to say, this case is like no other. The scale of this adventure, where it would lead us, and who would be dragged into it would leave a lasting impact on myself, my companions and many others. This is The Sign of Four. A quite frankly enormous adventure that began some time ago... but didn't properly kick off until we had a visit at 221b. Part 1 of 10.

THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY - Regrettably this adventure had immediately thrown up a problem. Mary Morstan. A girl that stood me up a year ago was somehow part of this whole mystery. Why was she attached to this missing boy and his diamond... Part 2 of 10.

MURDER HE NOTE - Sherlock and I had retrieved a note from Arthur Morstan's storage container, it read; 'The Sign of Four'. It was time to work out exactly where it came from and what it meant. I also found some time to properly catch up with Mary Morstan... Something I had attempted to do over a year ago. Volume I, Part 3 of 5.

A PASSAGE TO INDIA - Sherlock and Co Ltd has finally gone international. We landed in Amritsar with a meeting planned for Mary and Sholto... What we got.. was much more than that. Volume I, Part 4 of 5. 

INDIANA HOLMES AND THE TEMPLE OF PONDICHERRY - yeah you read that right. I never thought we'd find ourselves in such a location, for such a reason, on such an adventure. It was time to track down the temple of The Surakula, to track The Sign of Four and to understand how it all connected to Tonga Bajwa back in London. Volume I, Part 5 of 5.

LONDON CALLING - we were home. The trip to India had raised more questions than it had answered. Sherlock wanted to return to the beginning, to uncover things that may have been buried beneath the surface. I just wanted to sleep off the jetlag. Mariana just wanted her new suitcase to open. Part 6 of 10

AURORA - a word which would feel like it had a million different meanings. Tonga was trying to communicate to us. It was down to Sherlock and the co-investigation between Interpol and Scotland Yard to decipher exactly what Aurora meant and how it would lead us to Tonga and the Surakula. Part 7 of 10

NOT TO BE SNIFFED AT - our new companion Toby was onto something. The search was opening up, taking us out of Hounslow and into neighbouring Twickenham and Strawberry Hill... But in order to track down the Four we had to look elsewhere. The search site wasn't where, but when. Only in revisiting my edit did things fall into place. Part 8 of 10

ALL THE SMALL THINGS - I should have never doubted my flatmate. This whole time he had been harvesting the smallest, seemingly insignificant clues and now it was time to present his case. At a dinner party of all places. This is why I don't like hosting. Part 9 of 10

THE ANDALUCIA - we began with Captain Arthur Morstan. We would end in the Captain's Cabin of The Andalucia. Quite how we got here, quite how this all ended, is still unsettled and unformed in my mind and my heart. We thought we had broken The Sign of Four. We thought we had silenced them in capturing Jonathan Small. We were wrong. I'm sorry. Part 10 of 10

AN UNWANTED GUEST - John was recovering from the events of our previous adventure... Sherlock and I were trying to do the same. Working most cases remotely. Helping clients with problems over the phone or on zoom. We were looking forward to our downtime. The Goalhanger Christmas Party at The Three Gables Children's Hospital Event Ballroom. A good cause and a good night was all we wanted... from Mariana x Part 1 of 3

THE GOSSIPMONGER AND THE SOLICITOR - our supposed night of relaxation had turned pretty crazy. We met with Barney Stockdale, a man hired to keep us away from that building... It was time to figure out why. The information would be accessed through a Drag Queen and a Solicitor on annual leave. I told you it was pretty crazy. Mariana x Part 2 of 3

GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PAST - We made our way into the older parts of the building, to find what had been hidden long ago.. and what was now being hunted. The older parts of the building happened to be a Children's Hospital.. so yeah that was interesting. Sorry that we all had to sing in costume - but it was pretty important when it came down to chasing the Maberly safe. Mariana x Part 3 of 3

SNOW WAY OUT - my companion and I were confined to Baker Street after severe snowfall locked the City down. On our way back from an impromptu pub excursion it was a cry of 'murder' that prompted the opening of a case very close to home... Part 1 of 2

THE PREDATOR AND ITS PREY - cases come in all shapes and sizes... but when Mark Merrilow came round to apologise I never expected to find ourselves here. Speaking with Eugenia Ronder and hearing her fascinating tale. This is a case - and indeed an episode - like no other.  Part 2 of 2

CABIN IN THE WOODS - My companions and I had come up against some obstacles for the next published case. The Vatican said no, the canary trainer was too complicated, I was at a loss... That was until an old friend in Stanley Hopkins came to us with a problem. The problem was that of Black Peter... and what exactly happened in his cabin late at night. Part 1 of 3

THE WIDOW'S TALE - We had discovered and examined the body of Peter Orwell Carey otherwise known as 'Black Peter'. It was a gruesome death in baffling circumstances... We wanted answers from Mrs. Carey - and she was all too willing to give them. Part 2 of 3

THE SOUL OF THE MOUNTAIN - It was fairly typical of my companion to reach a conclusion so easily and swiftly while for us it remained a blur on the horizon. Sherlock and Mariana - who apparently speaks every tongue known to man - spoke with the Japanese intruder... but it was in a quiet chapel where I would finally catch up with Sherlock and the truth would come within my grasp. THE VANISHING HOST - To look at John Scott Eccles was to look upon your average looking accountant. Sorry accountants. Yet so there was so much more to this man than that first appearance. That first appearance on our doorstep, flustered, bewildered and hellbent on telling us a fascinating story of international subterfuge, a global criminal web and of course how he woke up in Wisteria Lodge all alone. Sounds like a problem for Sherlock and Co Ltd. Part 1 of 3

THEY FELL FROM THE SKY - we were dumbfounded, staggered, distraught. How was this possible? That these men would find themselves scattered in pieces over a Surrey crop field. I could see even in the great Detective's eyes that he was struggling. And I mean Sherlock there, not bloody Baynes. Part 2 of 3

THE TIGER OF DAMASCUS - Our intruder that found his way back to the crime scene dressed as an officer was still at large. But it was our turn now to take to the skies, and hopefully not be shot at for sport. We just had to track down Sherlock first and we'd be on our way. But he was busy... doing something.. weird.  Apologies for the technical error at the end of the episode. A stubborn glitch proving difficult to remove from our end. We're checking with Spotify and Goalhanger. Part 3 of 3

THE KILLER IN THE KITCHEN - Hector McFarlane bounded through our door somewhat unexpectedly. He was agitated, unnerved and pulsing with fury. He wanted our help and we DID NOT want to give it... at first. Part 1 of 4

SIEGE AT THE MUSEUM - Everything seemed to be within our control at one moment and then in this sudden altercation with Hector things began to spiral wildly out of control. Just how far this thing would go still baffles me. Sherlock and I decided to go over the case with the help of Hector's wife Shireen. Part 2 of 4
