Yi Rang finally decides to confront Gi Jung and listen to what he has to say. It turns out that Gi Jung was framed, and someone from the prosecution was behind this. Na Hyun also investigates the case on her own, and she finds that the records of Yoon Dae Myeong and Gi Jung’s deaths are suspicious. Meanwhile, Byung Il tells Do Kyung about his past and why he wants to stop Yi Rang.

Thanks to Gi Jung’s help, Yi Rang and Na Hyun defeat the gang that attacked them at the office. However, the gang leader takes the recorder. To retrieve the recorder, Yi Rang and Na Hyun visit Chinatown again. Meanwhile, Do Kyung tries to help Byung Il and get recognised by him. However, he discovers that Byung Il still does not trust him fully. Finally, Yi Rang decides to confront Byung Il himself.
