Off Roads, The Roads of the Extreme

Laury Thilleman takes Vincent Lagaf´ to the heart of the Mongolian steppe, on a road of the extreme: the road of transhumance. The famous animator is a thrill-seeking travel partner and rally cross expert. He is therefore the perfect co-pilot, a bit of a daredevil ... he will put their 4x4 to the test! They will have 4 days to cover 1000 km of “Off Roads” with the goal of reaching Mount Shireet in the “Valley of Eight Lakes”. This year Mongolia has suffered extreme temperatures down to -53 ° C. When they arrived, the snow was starting to melt making the terrain even more difficult. Together, Vincent and Laury had to cross the snow-capped Gobi Desert, roll over a half-frozen lake, and cross the steppe with no landmarks to navigate.

She and Laury will have to stick together in the face of the dangers that await them. In particular, they will have to face the famous "road of death", the most dangerous road in the world to reach the Tunupa Volcano and cross the largest salt desert in the world: the Salaar d´Uyuni. The adventure had many surprises in store for them, they experienced a stagnation in the bed of a river and almost spent the night there, lost in the middle of nowhere.

He is the ideal teammate since he has already taken part in three Paris-Dakar motorcycles. But despite his experience, the slopes of Montenegro do not spare him. They will have to face 600 km of off-piste in four days to reach the border with Albania. A very special border since it is located on a lake, and therefore, inaccessible by car. From the first kilometers the difficulties got in their way.

Laury Thilleman explores the most remote roads on the planet in the company of a personality. Both have five days to travel a route as sumptuous as it is strewn with pitfalls. Extraordinary road trips between desert, mountain, ravines, ice and abyssal chasms. Throughout these intense journeys, the duo engage in each other and share unusual encounters through breathtaking landscapes.

Laury takes Gil Alma on the most extreme roads of Madagascar. Gil is certainly a novice teammate when it comes to off roads, but he is a go-getter and is not afraid of anything, even if it means putting himself in danger. On the program: take the famous "RN 12" of 270 km on the red earth. A distance that might seem short but the level of difficulty is so high that the four days will not be too long to overcome it. It is one of the most difficult roads in the country. This road trip is punctuated by a major difficulty: night falls early and quickly. The slightest mechanical problem or stagnation during the night can take on considerable proportions.

Laury Thilleman takes Estelle Lefébure on the most extreme roads of Sri Lanka. This high-level teammate amazed Laury with her mastery of the automobile and her unfailing composure. On the program: 275 km of off-piste on the green gold route, through forests, jungle, rice fields and tea plantations. Between the hostility of the jungle, the traps of the undergrowth or the rainy season which sometimes makes the terrain impracticable, the obstacles followed one another and the rest was short-lived.
